I don’t use too many of the switches or buttons. I do know how to turn it on and off. It makes good coffee and the carafe hasn’t broken yet, so I’m very pleased.

I am disappointed in this coffee maker. When pouring water from the glass carafe into the water reservoir, water remains in the carafe. The lid needs to be removed to empty the remainder of the water into the reservoir. When the carafe is then turned upright, water that has remained in the handle, drips out. Same issue when coffee is brewed–the lid of the carafe needs to be removed to pour out all of the coffee. The one thing I like is that the coffee is very hot which is a big improvement over my previous coffeemaker (not Cuisinart).

Makes great coffee but, putting the pot back after pouring my cup is difficult. Does not slide into position easily.

The carafe is impossible to pour from without dripping down the side. The plastic lid for the carafe has to be removed with every use and is very hard to snap in place. I would image the constant snapping and unsnapping drastically reduces the lifespan of the plastic lid.

This is my second of these coffee makers, which I chose for size and capacity (it fits my counter space and makes pretty good coffee). There are a few negatives: the hinged top interferes with the access to the water reservoir, so you cannot completely empty the carafe of water into the machine — you can’t tip it high enough before bumping into the lid. And the white plastic parts of the carafe — the lid and the pour spout — stain immediately with the first pot brewed and poured, turning brown very quickly.

I’ve always like cuisinart products but had to replace this coffeepot after two months as the hot plate area started to peel. It was replaced by cuisinart free of charge

Makes a great cup of coffee! Makes it fairly quick too. Would definitely purchase this coffee maker again.

Easy to program & makes great coffee even in a hard water area. The only thing I have a slight problem with is the small opening to fill the reservoir. I will fill it as much as I can using the pot but if I don’t want water to spill on the counter or into the filter basket in order to get the full 12 cups of water from the bottom of the pot, I tip it as far as I can & have to use a glass of water to fill it to the desired amount. Other then that one little issue, I love this coffee maker.

As good as new. This one replaced an earlier Cuisinart that malfunctioned.

I had Cuisinart thermal carafe coffee pot for years. I generally made a few cups for myself but when I would try to make a pot of 8 or more cups, it always ran over. What a mess on the counter. I believe it was the way the lid on the carafe worked that caused the problem. Finally, I pitched and looked for one with a better design. The one I have now is awesome. Always works – no matter how large of a pot I make.

We love this Coffeemaker this is the third one we have had over the past twenty something years. Don’t even bother looking for another brand!

This is a replacement for my original coffee maker that quit brewing

I’ve owned several high end coffee makers over the years, but this machine is the best by far.

As a new replacement to a very defective predecessor of the same model only two years old, we appreciate this coffee maker when it works. So far so good…but the jury is still out on its longevity. If the new replacement craps out, we won’t purchase another. If it dies of old age before we do, we will buy another.

Makes flavorful coffee every time! Water filter and reusable coffee basket are big plusses!

I appreciate the features of being able to brew less than 5 cups of coffee, program start time and integrated metal and charcoal water filters. One star off for the way the top goes on and off the carafe. Makes cleaning it cumbersome.

I’ve had Cuisinart coffeemakers for 20 years. This one is fine but 2 things concern me:1. It brews way too quickly. By going so fast, it doesn’t extract the flavor from the beans as well as it could. No other models have been like this. 2. The sounds it makes, like at the end when its pulling out all the water to finish, seem very loud. It goes on for most of the brewing. Makes me worry about the pumping system longevity

Great coffeemaker with replacable filter. Quality maker that brews at proper temperature.
