Providing added convenience, the coffeemaker automatically shuts off at the end of the brewing cycle, and its 60-second reset “remembers” where it was in the brewing process and settings. We needed a programmable machine and we needed it to have an automatic Off. This one does both. Coffee stays hot for a few hours. Carafe is a little heavy compared to a glass pot but that is the price you pay to have a 5-star carafe that truly keeps the coffee hot.
