A nice addition to any modern kitchen, this fully automatic 10-cup coffee maker features 24-hour programmability–great for waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The unit offers a 1- to 4-cup setting for brewing a smaller amount without compromising flavor, and its brew-pause function allows for pouring a cup before the brew cycle has completed. The included 10-cup double-wall insulated thermal carafe comes with a generous stay-cool handle and a dripless pour spout for comfortable, drip-free serving. Providing added convenience, the coffeemaker automatically shuts off at the end of the brewing cycle, and its 60-second reset “remembers” where it was in the brewing process and settings. Accessories include a charcoal water filter, a gold-tone filter, and a user manual. This coffeemaker brews the best tasting coffee I’ve had home.At first I was skeptical because it finished brewing much faster than my previous Cuisinart.I really like the thermal carafe because it keeps the coffee hot and the flavor constant. I hope this one lasts longer than my previous Cuisinart. Unfortunately the reservoir leaked after four years. I hope they resolved that problem.

10-cup thermal: Good quality, last-forever coffee maker. Cleaning occasionally is all it asks. No glass containers to break; the metal pot will last longer than you. Only improvement could be is if the top lid folded back just a little more, it would be easier to fill the water container with water from the pot for the exactly right amount. Space efficient. Good filter comes with. If the kids didn’t like mine so much, i wouldn’t have had to buy several.

Good carafe, pours without drips. It makes coffee too quickly, the fast-moving water produces weak coffee. I use one more scoop than my previous maker, and still have to manually stop the brewing a few times to give it time to steep. I would not buy this model again.

I love it. It never overflows. It makes a perfect pot of coffee every time, and it’s at the right temperature; not too hot. There is a basket that will hold the paper filter, or the mesh screen filter. I like the option of using a mesh filter, or a #4 cone paper filter, which I prefer, because it makes cleaning easier. The carafe is awesome! It’s double-walled, with a door-like valve that opens when you tilt the carafe to pour out the coffee. It keeps the coffee hot all day. Amazing. Why even use a glass carafe anymore? I’ve never used the timer, though. I just load it with grounds when I’m ready to make a pot. It’s easy; just push the button, and it starts to brew. When it’s done, it beeps, and turns itself off. Lastly, I like the size. It’s not very tall at 14 inches, and 8 inches in width. I am very pleased with this coffeemaker. It’s the best I’ve ever owned.
