The included 10-cup double-wall insulated thermal carafe comes with a generous stay-cool handle and a dripless pour spout for comfortable, drip-free serving. Providing added convenience, the coffeemaker automatically shuts off at the end of the brewing cycle, and its 60-second reset “remembers” where it was in the brewing process and settings. Just what I was seeking! Replaced another brand maker which burned the coffee due to a very hot, non-adjustable warming plate. Ick. So, chose this thermal carafe programmable model from Cuisinart. It works great for my morning routine! The previous machine would scorch the coffee within :15 of brewing completion. This one simply keeps you coffee nice and hot when you pour your first cup: you can now hit the snooze alarm and not wake up to burnt coffee! Also keeps the brew warm throughout the am routine…it is a push to say it’s warm for hours, but still perfect after two! The cone filter is awesome; they provide a better brewing surface over all. Love the gold filter provided with the machine! All features considered, this coffeemaker fits my needs: ability to hit the snooze button and wake up to a nice cup of well brewed coffee every morning! Also great for the weekend lingering coffee session while you wait for the rest of the family to wake up! Highly recommend this machine!

The insulated carafe keeps the coffee warm at least 2 hours. Which is great because the coffee doesn’t set there and “burn”. Therefore, it tastes fresh to the last drop. More importantly, the maker makes great coffee!

I like the fact when the coffee is done brewing, it shuts off right away. No need for it to stay on, the heat plate stayswarm for awhile. The carafe keeps the coffee war/hot for hours. It makes great tasting coffee. I would highly recommend this coffee maker.

This is a replacement of the same model I used for years. The old one got clogged with mineral deposits. ProTip: use distilled or RO water in your coffeemaker. It works great, but the lid isn’t closing tightly and lets out steam. We have to put a weight on top to keep it tightly shut. That could be improved.
