I will tell you the truth. I returned it. I am a BIG fan of Cuisinart products and have a bunch, especially your coffee makers. The machine worked well. No problems, except…I drink a lot of coffee and for whatever reasons, the coffee just didn’t taste as good as it does when made in a glass carafe. I think the coffee sitting in the plastic well just changed the flavor. It stayed hot, no leaks, as I said, worked great…But I just wasn’t happy with the flavor.

We love this coffee maker & this brand! We had purchased a Cuisinart Coffee maker years ago, and something broke on it. Our initial request was to purchase the part that broke, but Cuisinart sent us their new model of the same system for free! We had that system for several years 10+, and finally the side reservoir cracked so we purchased the exact same model. It makes great coffee and everyone that comes over is always intrigued by the little lever you push to dispense the coffee.

Love this alternative to the Hamilton Beach Brewstation, which we have gone through 4 of in the past 6 years. We got sick of it dying on us after only a year or so if use. Tried to find a similar dispensing style maker, so we bought The Cuisinart Coffee on Demand. It is a beautiful easy to use machine. I love the washable filter that comes with it, feels less wasteful and the coffee tastes great. I only gave 4 stars because I don’t know how long it will last compared to the Hamilton Beach, I hope to revise down the road. I have faith though, as the design makes more sense. Hamilton Beach dispenser would stop working because it is plastic and only an inch or so away from the heating element plate. Cuisinart has it in a separate compartment, so I hope it stands our two brews a day, time will tell! So far I’m very impressed and pleased! PS: How cool and useful is the “fuel gauge” feature?! Love It!

This Cuisinart coffee server has a few unique features that are very important to me. One is that it has a full 96 ounce Reservoir , making it a true 12 (8oz) cup coffeemaker. Most makers who sell their product as a 12 cup are actually 60 ounce. The competitors consider 5 oz to be a cup of coffee. Cuisinart dispenses directly into your cup. This design keeps the coffee in the reservoir much fresher and much hotter for 2-3 hours after making it. This is the 2nd Cuisinart with these features that I have owned. I would highly recommend this system!

I can’t say enough good about this product. Originally I wanted a smaller coffee maker but loved the coffee station concept. Nice to have the option to use the included basket or filters. The side tank is a real bonus. Easily removable and love the finger hold on the side of the tank. The light that comes on when filling the cup is very nice benefit, as is the gauge that indicates how much brewed coffee is still available. And so easy to clean the tank and really like ability to remove the tray for larger mugs, if needed, and for cleaning. Only downside is that the beep indicating coffee is done brewing should be a wee bit louder.
