We absolutely love the “on demand” button, gauge, and this version is even better than the last because the water is filtered directly into the maker without you making a drippy mess. I love this coffee maker! The fact that there isn’t a glass canister is wonderful, because over the years too many of them broke. This coffee maker was our second one of the same model. We did have a little issue with the first one where after a year it had a little leak into the drip pan and if we didn’t stay on top of it, it would leak onto the counter. However, we thought that was a fluke and we decided to get another one because we loved the design so much. We otherwise would have given this model a 5 star

Absolutely outstanding ! ! I purchase this model to replace the one I had. The old Cuisinart coffeemaker lasted longer than any other that I’ve owned, and at 72 I have had a few. This style of maker is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. My wife or I can walk up get a cup and move on, and there are no drips from the pot. That may not seem like a lot but not all pots are created equal and you dont know till you own it. The advantage of no pot has also increased 10 fold with the spread of granit countertops. The fact that the coffee is in a more sealed reservoir it lasts longer before you get a burnt taste . I can not praise it enough.
