Makes a perfect cup every time. We use bamboo paper filters and grind it a bit finer than what is typically called for in drip coffee makers. Then we just use the Bold setting and get great dark roast coffee as Good or better than most coffee shops can achieve. Clean up is a breeze – LOVE this coffee maker (and we’ve owned very expensive ones in the past – no more!)

Works pretty well as it is a replacement of my old unit with the turn dials. I like the backlit buttons and the styling, but the new “bold” feature is very lacking. If you are expecting it to brew in the same amount of time you’re sadly mistaken– it takes at least triple the time to brew on the bold setting. Other than that, a fine coffee maker.

Love the maker This is my 2nd one. Only problem I’ve had is the plastic rim on the glass pot starts to leak out after filling. Had same issue before and Cuisinart kept sending me new pots. Was hoping they fixed this default but no. I battle with the pot most times but my fresh coffee is always so good.

I’ve been purchasing cuisinart coffee makers for many years. This is my second 14 cupper. Love it! It’s as hot as a perked pot and very flavorful probably would never buy another. IMO forget the quick cups. THIS Is a cup of coffee!!

Only issue is coffee grounds will overflow into the carafe. Will not notice it until you drink your cup and bottom of it will be full of grounds. And no am not putting too much in before brewing. Have been cutting back on amount of coffee to put in basket but have yet to find the sweetspot. Coffee does taste great.

The auto start, keep warm and auto off is a game changer when you WFH M-F on a regular basis. The bold option enables you to make your morning cup extra strong and it never tastes water down like some of the other competitors. I highly recommend for anyone who is always in a rush or have meetings lined up back to back and don’t have the time to manually make a slow drop cup.

Being left handed it is hard to pour water in on the right side. If you pour it on the left side it could splash everywhere .

The coffee maker produces great tasting coffee. When our old coffee maker stopped working, we tried several other brands. The coffee produced by those brands were either bitter or weak. The Cuisinart Coffee maker produces flavorful, well balanced coffee consistently. The only negative is the grounds seep through the gold filter without a paper filter.

After having a Keurig for years I wanted to go back to a full pot coffeemaker. I tried Brand X and it lasted less than 2 months before the programming failed. Friends recommended Cuisinart so I started looking. While more expensive I was looking for durability. I’ve had mine about a month and have not been disappointed! Brews a nice coffee, timer works great, keeps the carafe hot till the timer shuts it off. Very happy with my purchase and looking forward to a long life with it!

The warming tray doesn’t differentiate the 3 settings. The resting area for the carafe loses the black finish and looks awful after awhile.

We love this coffee maker! It’s our 3rd one. The first one got damaged in our move. The 2nd one honestly quit on us. Not sure what happened and we didn’t use the warranty because we didn’t register it. It was something to do with the power cord and it broke within less than a year which was disappointing. We now have our 3rd one and it’s going great and this time I registered it! I would have given it a 5 if it hadn’t been for the last one breaking within a year.

Great coffee maker, bought as a replacement for my older Cuisinart 12 cup model. One little design flaw that I’d change is the location of the “mute” button for the “Brew Ready” audio signal. I find that when push the coffee maker back along the counter top with my hands, I sometimes push this button w/o realizing it, which turns off the beep sound when the coffee is ready to drink. Other than this minor detail, I love the coffee maker.
