So that I can be a little positive and end on a high note, I’ll start with the negatives:Cons- The coffeemaker is much taller than others I’ve owned, which makes it a little tricky to pour in the water.- Speaking of, the coffee pot itself has a lip around the top that makes it almost impossible to get out the last 1/2 cup of coffee (or water if you’re using it to fill up the water carafe). In the beginning, I was holding it literally upside-down to pour in the water, which would inevitably wind up getting everywhere. Now, I have a separate water pitcher that I use to fill up the carafe. It’s really annoying.- It takes an unusually long amount of time to brew a pot, and it’s super noisyPros- I like the bold setting- The coffee pot being stainless steel does seem to keep the coffee warmer longer- I haven’t used the delay brewing function yet, but that’s a nice perk- I like that it has the brew pause feature where I can pull out the coffee pot to fill my cup while it’s brewingI don’t dislike it enough to send it back, but I’m pretty bummed about how awkward it is to use and wish I’d read more reviews before purchasing. Buyer beware.

This is my third Cuisinart coffee machine and I really love the thermal carafe which keeps coffee hot for hours. The hinges on the filter door broke on my first machine and the second one rusted underneath and leaked badly after a few years. I am hoping this one will last me for quite some time.

I bought this coffeemaker for the Thermal Carafe, to keep coffee hot. And it does just that! Compared to my former TC coffee maker which could not even keep the coffee warm for two hours, the Cuisinart Thermal Coffeemaker maintains the heat for several hours. Well worth the price for great coffee all day.

Makes and keeps coffee nice and hot. Looks good on the countertop. Simple to use.

Works well, but new carafe design prevents getting the last half cup out without dribbling on the counter.

Brews tasty coffee and keeps it warm for a long time. Wish it had a window to see how much coffee was in the thermal carafe, and it is hard to pour out all the contents of the carafe. We also like our coffee strong, and the grounds keep overflowing into the carafe.

Nice look, water distribution holes above filter basket is good (spreading across coffee grounds) but cons are, coffee is not hot enough, coffee pot leaks when pouring/after pouring

Great coffeemaker. My previous coffeemaker broke down. I like that you can see clearly how much water you’re adding. Previously, it was guess work.

The coffee maker works great but I am not that happy with the carafe. You need to turn it over completely to empty it and it pours very slowly compared to other carafe’s I’ve used.

Best coffee maker hands down. Hotter than most, makes a really good cup of coffee. Thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for about 4hrs. Had a DCC-2400 that lasted a good 10 years. This one is similar, but improved. Filling with water is quirky, but I use a kitchen sprayer to fill mine, so its all good. Getting the last drop out of the carafe is hard, as it needs to be pretty much upside down, but it works! I love mine!

Best Quality and Reliable Performance…my second one.

The end product is incredible, however, the carafe is awkward and it’s challenging to get water in the reservoir.

Purchased about 2 months ago. Easy to use with clear markings for water level. Makes hot pot of coffee in a few minutes which stays hot in thermal carafe. Flavor of coffee not as good as our old machine ( Melitta). No information on durability yet.

Love it, have used Cuisinart coffee makers for years. Love that my coffee is steaming hot

The coffeemaker makes excellent coffee and looks terrific but it has one major flaw that makes me wish I had not bought it. The thermal carafe is extremely awkward. Coffee doesn’t pour from the lip until the carafe is almost upside down. Since the carafe is fairly heavy, it makes pouring very difficult – and when you get to the end of the contents, you do have to hold it upside down and then the coffee dribbles out, sometimes splashing outside the coffee cup.

Nice unit, easy to operate. I wish the heating element would stay on. That shuts off a soon a it’s done brewing. The carafe is a little awkward to pour the last bit of liquid out of, but it doesn’t spill when pouring like others I’ve had.

We love our new programmable thermal coffeemaker! It’s super easy to program, it brews quickly, and the coffee stays warm for hours. Additionally, we find the flavor of our coffee, even though we’re using the same beans and grinder as before, to be much more robust. The thermal coffee pot has proven easy to clean, and while some have noted that the pour requires quite a tip of the coffee pot (which is true), the trade off of an awkward pour is worth all the other great features. We are so pleased with this machine.

I love it, however, the plastic lid on the top does not always seem to close well. Also, it is difficult to get the coffee from the jar

Coffee not as hot as my previous Cuisinart thermal caraf
