Yes, I would recommend this coffee pot. It has everything you need. It has the clean cycle button as well. Charcoal filter inside. Comes with metal filter. Nice stainless steel – easy to clean.

While not perfect, this is my preferred coffee maker at the moment. I like the size and the thermal pot stays warm all day. It’s quite hot for the first 30 minutes. After that I zap it. I don’t like the pouring angle that is needed for the last cup. It requires an unnatural grip to empty it with the lid on. Moisture build up inside after brewing is high. I try to let it air out daily by leaving the top open. But still overall, I like it.

We’re pleasantly surprised at what good coffee this makes. We expected to upgrade when our previous Cusinart autodrip coffeemaker gave up the ghost after many years. Yet Wirecutter, Consumer Reports, and more coffee-focused review sites steered us away from Cuisinart (coffee tastes like cardboard, one said). But reading between the lines, I discerned that a device that includes a showerhead to evenly moisten the coffee and excludes a hot plate that gradually burns the coffee (and eventually burns out) might make a big difference, and this fit the bill. (We like our coffee fresh ground so never use and can’t speak to the programmable features.) An unexpected plus is that the carafe is so well insulated that the coffee in it stays hot for hours. The only drawback, as other reviewers have written, is the design of the carafe—it’s heavy, a bit cumbersome, and tends to drip, and it’s opening is too small for a hand to fit in to clean. Washing it in a dishwasher puts water inside the walls of the carafe (probably via the screw hole for attaching the handle), so we’ve learned to just rinse it out well. With no hot plate to burn the coffee inside it, it might escape taking on that burnt coffee smell All in all, we’re glad that we gave Cuisinart another try.

I enjoy my new coffee maker and it works flawlessly.

We have had the coffee maker for a couple of months now and really like it. Everything about it is simple and easy to use and makes great coffee! Can’t get your hand in the top of the carafe to clean it, that is my only complaint.

I’ve had this for about 2 months. Thermos works great keeping coffee hot. I set the auto-start for 6am. Coffee will stay hot until noon. Coffee tastes great as well.

I’ve had this coffee maker for a little over a month and use it every day, mostly with the timer function so the coffee is ready when I wake up on the morning. Overall, I am satisfied. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of how the water level is viewable. When adding water, it is difficult to see the water level on the side of the unit, so I have to stop and look at how much water is added. As the amount of water gets closer to max fill, I have to stop, look again at the side of the unit to see the water level, then add smaller amounts of water to get it where I need it to be. The other major flaw with the way water is added, is that there is no overflow hole on the unit. So if you dd more than the max amount of water – and there is A LOT of space beyond max fill to do this – you need to manually remove the water. I’ve never seen another coffee maker with a fill tank that that allows for significant overfill with no safeguard in place. Other than the water fill issues, everything else is very good so far and I recommend this coffee maker.

This is our second of these coffee makers. The first last 10 plus years. This one keeps the coffee hotter and works well.

There is so much good news/bad news with this coffeemaker. We love the taste of coffee and that it stays warm for hours. It stays much warmer than our previous maker. The bad news is that when making 12 cups, it almost always overflows in the filter area. Thanks to my analytical husband, we have tried many things to attempt to stop the issue. So far we have been unsuccessful. I so wish we could solve the issue since, otherwise we love this coffeemaker.

We’ve been loyal Cuisinart Coffeemaker customers for over 20 years, and this model is the best one yet – has & does everything we need, nothing we don’t. (We chose a separate coffee grinder to grind beans.) This model is our favorite – the thermal carafe works GREAT, and coffee doesn’t “overcook” from sitting on an unnecessary warming plate for an hour after brewing. Programmable, with a nice “Bold” brew feature 8). Only one minor drawback: When pouring into a coffee cup or mug, we’re careful to point the carafe spout downward into the coffee cup to avoid very minor splattering, perhaps due to the design/shape of the spout – an issue we’ve seen on lower quality industrial coffee makers). BUY THIS MODEL – you’ll love what it does for your coffee!

This was purchased to replace a cuisinart brew station which had issues with the hoses cracking and leaking. Based upon many reviews I decided to replace it with a thermal carafe coffee maker. This unit works well, makes good coffee and does keep it hot for a few hours. The downside is the carafe is poorly designed – it is not possible to fill the water reseroir in the machine with the carafe as it is difficult to pour into the reservoir and impossible to empty the carafe. I use my kettle to add the water. This leads to another issue – it is absolutely impossible to empty the carafe of coffee, so either it is necessary to turn the pot almost upside down to get the last 2 cups of coffee out of it. I think this is a very poorly designed carafe. Based on my xperiences with other cuisinart coffee makers, I am hoping there is not the same issue with the corrosion of the hoses. Fingers crossed…

First cups were great! I was so excited. Had some mishaps when the plastic drip-filter contraption wasn’t properly installed. I spent a while trying to drain coffee grinds out of the entire machine. I realized that the machine itself is porous (when you turn it upside down, water comes out from plastic container. I fixed it, but was not encouraged. I expected a better built machine. FYI: there is no heat pan: the canister keeps coffee hot for about 4 hours; warm for another 6 hours.

Difficult to pour water into the machine using the thermas. Themas is bulky.

We bought this coffeemaker to replace an old Krups thermal carafe coffeemaker. The Cuisinart is comparable though it’s better at producing very hot coffee and keeping it warm. It took a number of uses before the factory taste wore off and to figure out how much coffee to use. The measuring spoon that came with the unit produced coffee that was too weak for us using a 1:1 ratio (we use a medium blend and don’t like our coffee too strong). We’ve now gotten it down, though we’re not sure whether the filter would hold enough grounds to make a full 12-cup pot since we have to use more grounds than recommended. Overall, we’re very happy with this coffeemaker.

Keeps coffee hot, has a mesh/sustainable filter, and has a delay brew option! The only thing I don’t like, is that the rim on the pot is so thick, it traps coffee inside, so you can’t ever really get the last few drops of a pot of coffee.

Easy to use and set-up and so far makes very good coffee. No issues with this product so far. I’ve owned the grind and brew Cuisinart in the past and they only last about 12 months before giving out. Wouldn’t pump the water from the reservoir through the coffee maker. This happened on at least 4 coffee makers I purchased. Probably why you don’t them available any longer. Hopefully this one lasts longer than a year.

Nice looking, easy to use and easy to clean. But does not keep coffee warm for vary long at all. A little disappointing.

I came to this rig via a KitchenAide unit that worked fine until the ears holding the lid to the pot broke off. So that’s my point of reference. The insulated pot is heavy. But, it probably won’t shatter. It does make it hard to gauge how much brew is left in the pot.The spout could be bigger — it would make dispensing a bit quicker. Otherwise, it is just fine.
