Having been used three to four times each day, it still lasted 12 years.That’s why I purchased another one.It uses Melitta #2 filters.If you have very hard water like we do and use it as often as we do,I suggest using the cleaning instructions in the manual monthly.A great price for a truly great four cup electric coffee maker

I bought this for our RV camping trips. It’s a relief not to travel with a glass carafe. This is a perfect small size coffee pot! It makes slightly more than a single serve model, but really only makes 2-3 mugs of coffee, depending on serving size. The pot is not double walled, so it does get hot to the touch and doesn’t insulate. But I would recommend it if you’re looking for a small size coffee pot.

Great little coffee pot. Makes a hot strong mug of coffee every time I’m very pleased with it. However, a cup does not equal a mug!!!!! I use 2 cups of water for my one mug of coffee in the morning, so only a 2 mug pot which is perfect for me. You need size #2 filters, not included. CoffeeLove the design with a stainless steel carafe and it looks great on the counter.

This is a great little coffee pot for two people to have their coffee in the morning (or any other time for that matter.) The only reason I gave it four stars is that if you aren’t careful, and sometimes even then, it dribbles the coffee making aiming difficult or even having the coffee on the counter top, which is certainly an irritant. Our previous one had a small tendency to drip, but not to the extent this one does. It’s a shame for otherwise I would be totally happy with it.

After our 3rd kcup machine stopped working I decided to go back to the drip type coffee makers. With just myself and husband, I didn’t want a full 12 cup pot, as we both only drink 1 cup of coffee a day. This is perfect for making anywhere from 1-4 cups without any waste! It has the measurements for the water levels in the water reservoir so you know how much water to put in for however many cups you want to make. And the stainless steel pot is awesome! No worries about breaking the pot! I love it! Thanks Cuisinart for another great product!

Great coffeemaker! My second one. Gets to the correct temp for brewing as opposed to Mr.Coffee :(( and brews quickly. I use a gold mesh reusable filter and grind beans daily, so I’m particular about my coffee. You can pull out the carafe early and it stops dripping, which is handy. Highly recommend this unit!
