It works fine and I like the size and ease of using it. The only negative thing I would say is that if you want coarse grind you cannot do it. It grinds to fine grind but you cannot separate the fine grind out to grind just coarse. In other words, it mixes it all in as it grinds it and it’s either part fine grind and medium/no grind, or grind it all and then it is all fine grind.

It’s really nice looking and easy enough to clean I would think if grinding up coffee beans which I have not tried as yet, but I did try walnuts since it said it grinds nuts which I also wanted and it did not work well. Maybe it can’t be used specifically forcwslnits but other nuts-if have to try and see. It was messy and did not grind them all up. I had to finish up with my nutri bullet in order to make nutroll. I have to buy a bag of coffee beans to try it to give a full review but this is what I found out so far. I’m hoping it works for coffee as I usually love and buy all Cuisinart products in my kitchen. I’m a bit disappointed so far but hoping grinding up coffee beans will be enough to want to keep this product. I also bought a coffee pot/keurig combo machine which I love!

I had an issue with the plastic cover, I called cuisinart for support and they said they will send out a replacement, I received the replacement and uploaded a pic of the power cord cut in half. There was no issues with this transaction, and therefore I recommend Cuisinart products. We use nothing but Cuisinart products and will continue to do so.

When filled with beans to the 12-cup mark, the grounds tend to come up under the cover and on to the base. It hasn’t made a big mess, but it something to be aware of. Might not happen as much if you grind less beans at a time. Otherwise very pleased with the product.
