I had a Cuisinart Food Processor years ago. I switched to a Kitchenaid Food Processor based on some some high ratings for it at the time when my old food processor became irreparable. Big mistake. When the chopping blade on the Kitchenaid broke, I decided that, rather than replace it, I would go back to Cuisinart. I’ve used my new Cuisinart a few times now and am very happy with it. My only regret is that I donated all my old Cuisinart blades only to find out that they would have worked with this new one.

This is my second Cuisinart Custom 14 Food Processor. I had the first one for eight years and it still works wonderfully, but I’m clumsy and ended up dropping the basket lid enough times that it broke, and the food processor will not work without this lid. I tried to get a replacement lid and it was back-ordered. Hubby thought it was crazy to wait for a basket, and bought me a new one for Christmas! I have two other food processors (which I use more as choppers), but this is my go-to. Large, powerful, easy to clean, I Love It!! I have a Vitamix I never use because this is so much easier to clean, and in most cases, does the job just as well.
