It does what it is supposed to but I don’t like washing it! Too many crevices that collect water that I cant get to – to dry. Its just like the cuisinart grinder / coffee maker I bought. I have to wash five (5) separate pieces every time I make a pot of coffee, and every piece must be dried completely including the inside of the machine or it gets all gummed up from the moisture. Tonight I shredded brussel sprouts. It shredded them in seconds, but it took me a long time to clean and dry all of the pieces. The bowl, the lid, the shredder blade, the shredder blade support. I could have sliced them with a knife in the same amount of time…. I bought it for making pie dough but haven’t tried that yet. Hopefully it will make it worth the ridiculous amount of money I paid for it.

Chopping cabbage and onion does not give an even chop. Some get tooo finely chopped while some are still chunk pieces.

Received this for Christmas after wanting one for years. I am amazed at how powerful it is – it was truly shocking the first time I tested it out! I have used it for blending tomato sauce, shredding lettuce and cheese, and slicing potatoes. My only complaint is the gap that is between the slicing and shredding blades and the top lid. A decent sized wedge of food likes to get trapped in that space, causing the rotor to slow down. I’m afraid I might burn up the motor. But overall, I’ve been very happy.

I bought this processor because it is recommended by America’s Test Kitchen. I’m a little disappointed. It is quiet and easy to use. But when I put something in the shoot to shred or slice it, it leaves a little of the food in the bottom of the shoot unprocessed. It’s like the the part that pushes the food down isn’t long enough.

This is an excellent food processor and I do not regret purchasing it. However, it is not intuitive and the manual is inadequate. Several times I had to look up YouTube videos to figure out how to use the processor. So prepare for a learning curve. The manual did do an excellent job of making me terrified of the razor sharp blades, with constant warnings, so I use this with extreme care.
