Just to let everyone know who reads this review, I am not being paid nor am I receiving any promotion from Cuisinart although it would be nice…hint, hint! I use my 14CFP almost everyday from making pizza dough to coleslaw I also make a walnut crescent cookie which requires the walnuts to be turned into almost a paste like consistency and the 14CFP does so effortlessly. It is easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much counter-space which is super important if doing any kind of production type cooking. One awesome feature is that it is super quiet to operate, so don’t worry about the neighbors at 3:00am unless putting marbles in it…lol but it is really quiet and smooth, the 14CFP doesn’t jump all over the counter nor cause things to rattle out of the cupboards…it’s just smooth!All in all I am really please with my Cuisinart 14CFP and I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quality Food Processor.

This is an amazing product. I love it for making nut butter. You do have to scrape down the sides at the beginning but once you blend it for awhile it will do it without stopping until the nut butter is complete. Great wattage motor will run continuously for an hour or more. The base does get extremely hot when running for awhile. Overall I am very satisfied with the power and mechanisms of this machine.

This is my 3rd one and the best so far, although VERY similar to the last one (about 12 yrs. old). The new one is easier to load larger pieces for processing. The bowl pieces seem easier to use although the first try was frustrating as I had to give it a “good” push to lock in – I just did not want to break it. Now that I am use to it, I find it super easy to lock/unlock. I did miss the old plastic dough blade, but had kept mine – even if I may not need to use it. Overall, another quality item that should last years.

We got a Waring FP as a wedding gift and it lasted 40 years. We were heartbroken when the main shaft finally failed. We bought the 14C Cuisinart based on reviews and so far we are very happy with it. It shredded cauliflower and grated Parmesan beautifully.

The machine will not turn on if the container is not line up correctly. The last part “plunger” thing that push food in, must be inserted so the metal bar goes into the container’s mechanism or the machine won’t turn on. It was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions so we thought we had a dud. The machine does what it advertises to do. Grounding chicken was a breeze, making slices of lemons were quite easy and quick. We bought this in July, used it 3-4 times so far, so couldn’t speak about longevity.
