   I had an earlier version of this model for over twenty years and wanted a grind and brew model again. It has a few improvements from my original, like the water filter, mesh basket and it is 12 cups now with glass caraf! I hope they continue this model. It was a great price and I’d. It it again!

   It’s perfect, I drink coffee daily. But I’m the only person in the household who does drink coffee, so maybe I should have gotten the single cup maker instead. Because the processes of washing every part of the coffee maker for just a cup of coffee, isn’t the best bang for the buck. But if there was more coffee drinkers in my household, this would definitely be the perfect coffee maker. Love the grinder, provides rich flavors that you just won’t get in just any cup of coffee w out a grinder.

   This coffee pot is a good fit in my kitchen because it’s not too big, and is stainless steel like all the other appliances. It is easy to use, it makes great tasting coffee, and you can grind beans or use ground coffee. I feel the price was fair for the quality.

   Buy this coffee maker. This is our second exact same unit. The first unit was the best coffee maker we ever had. It lived 12 + yrs. until its’ recent demise. Thankfully the same unit was still available. The unit has a quirk that I don’t think about any more. The bean hopper doesn’t completely empty. A quick spin with a spoon around the inside and dump the grounds in the basket. Easy peasy. This new machine is my new all time favorite. Hands down the best and most consistant cup of coffee ever. Thanks Cuisinart.

    Makes a great cup of coffee. The grinder ensures that the coffee is fully ground each time (I think that they program it so that it assumes coffee beand for a full pot need to be ground because it grinds for a long time!). Clean up requires rinsing the grinder every time but it’s not that hard to do. But it’s nice to be able to just toss the beans in, have the machine grind them, and let it brew after that. I do wish that the water level measures were on the outside as well. Just having them on the inside makes it not so easy to see the fill lines.

    The construction is very weak and inconvenient. You have to take out 4 or 5 pieces just to clean and the top is difficult to snap back on. Also, every time you brew, too much condensation builds up in the bean and grind chambers. There also is no way to specify how many cups in the grind amount set up. Nice looking though and does its job nicely.
