This is our 3rd grind & brew so that should give you the idea we are fond of the coffee maker. We try and keep up with the cleanings and since we have hard water here I use about 4 cups of distilled water in with the balance of tap water so I believe that helps with keeping the heating coils cleaner. I have a routine of cleaning after each use so no custy stuff for the next cycle of brewing. This last maker we received has a basket door that doesn’t quite fit evenly, I have over the years know how to do minor adjustments on these makers having taken some that have died apart to see how they are assembled but would prefer the fabricators do a better job with QC, thus the 4 star rating.

Works well. I like this version better than the previous version with the thermos style carafe. Just be careful to not touch the hot plate with your fingers or you will get burned. It gets very hot as soon as the coffee is ground.

Buy this coffee maker. This is our second exact same unit. The first unit was the best coffee maker we ever had. It lived 12 + yrs. until its’ recent demise. Thankfully the same unit was still available. The unit has a quirk that I don’t think about any more. The bean hopper doesn’t completely empty. A quick spin with a spoon around the inside and dump the grounds in the basket. Easy peasy. This new machine is my new all time favorite. Hands down the best and most consistant cup of coffee ever. Thanks Cuisinart.

This is the third time we have purchased this coffee maker over the years. We like the built in grinder. With daily use, plastic latch parts break off (as the machine ages.)

The only knock I have against this product is that the water calibration is on the inside and it is hard to read if you are making two cups of coffee.

The construction is very weak and inconvenient. You have to take out 4 or 5 pieces just to clean and the top is difficult to snap back on. Also, every time you brew, too much condensation builds up in the bean and grind chambers. There also is no way to specify how many cups in the grind amount set up. Nice looking though and does its job nicely.

I like the changes that you’ve made with this coffeemaker. We’ve had the older version over the last 20 years but have gone through several of them because the grinder stopped working or the hotplate stopped after about 4 years, 1 year past the warranty. Hopefully with the revamping of this it will last longer.

This is the second Grind & Brew that I have owned. My first one lasted many years. This makes a great cup of fresh ground coffee! It is a little noisy and requires a little clean up, but it is definitely worth it. I have found that using paper filters makes clean up easier- I highly recommend!
