This is a very good coffee maker for making a pot of coffee from freshly ground beans.

Recently purchased this model, and it is a BIG upgrade from our old Mr. Coffee. It does take a little more time to clean and load the beans each evening, but when we hear the grinder go off at 5:45, we are already getting anxious for that fresh cup of coffee! We love our new coffee maker. Only gave 4 stars because of the cleaning needed between each pot, but this is a minimal inconvenience for the quality of the coffee brewed.

It’s perfect, I drink coffee daily. But I’m the only person in the household who does drink coffee, so maybe I should have gotten the single cup maker instead. Because the processes of washing every part of the coffee maker for just a cup of coffee, isn’t the best bang for the buck. But if there was more coffee drinkers in my household, this would definitely be the perfect coffee maker. Love the grinder, provides rich flavors that you just won’t get in just any cup of coffee w out a grinder.

As long as you clean it daily, great coffee maker. I’ve been using a French press for years but needed the convenience of coffee already brewed when I get up. This fits the bill perfectly. A little loud while grinding but I have it set to the same time as my alarm. Definitely worth it!

The steam from the water will go into the coffee grinder and make it a bit messy for cleaning. The whole unit will be easier to clean when completely dry.

Flavor is excellent out of this pot. Brew time isn’t bad. Cons would be the clean up involved as the grinder gets full of coffee and has to be cleaned daily. The other con is that it extremely light weight. Coffee doesn’t stay hot long so we have to transfer to a carafe to keep it warm for several hours.

It is a great coffee maker if you like to buy fresh coffee beans. It has a built in grinder. You can also use it with ground coffee. It is programmable so you can wake up and smell the coffee. We also have one at our second home.

Part of me loves this grind-and-brew coffee maker, part not so much.Pros: coffee and temperature are good. Price was very good. Cons: No reservoir for coffee beans. Must measure and add for each pot. Makes as much as the water you add, so you must be sure to add the right quantity of beans for the volume of water. Not as easy to clean as my last grind-and-brew. Would I buy it again? Yes. Best grind-and-brew for the money.

I selected this because it was exactly what I have had in the past, but this one is even better because of the glass carafe – it cleans better than the previous one. Plus, this pot stays hot for an hour and a half; old machine finished brewing and then turned off. This is a great product!

Had one just like this one for about 15 years so when it came time to get a coffee maker we went back with this one..Most of time using it was running water from a water softener..We used the grinder for coffee beans and regular coffee, LOVE IT…
