I really like this product. We had this coffeemaker for 10 years and just recently replaced it with the newer version. The carafe on the newer version dripped/leaked when pouring and I had to contact Cuisinart. The company replaced the carafe and it is now fine!

The machine will make coffee even if you don’t have the carafe in place leading to a kitchen catastrophe once the basket fills with coffee. Needs a switch that prevents operation until carafe in in place

Good product producing an acceptable cup of coffee, which could be hoter. The flaw is that the machine has to be turned on to ground the coffee, and then turned off and back on to strat brewing. Have not tried the automatic timer.

This is a great coffee maker! I love the fact that it has a built in grinder – you can measure out the beans from 1 – 10 cups and let it do the work of grinding and brewing fresh coffee. I have it set to start automatically each morning, and when I’m ready, fresh, hot coffee. Doesn’t require a lot of space. Previously, we had a full counter with a coffee maker and a separate coffee grinder – this has combined all those into one.
