This is a good grind and brew. This is the third one we have had. They last 3 or 4 years. The grinder went bad on the last one. Beware of proper cleaning of the lid of the carafe. If that gets clogged you will have coffee run all over the floor. That happened to us and we had to solve the problem.

Coffeemaker is easy to use. Biggest complaint is my own fault. Since I bought it online, I didn’t realize you had to measure out your coffee every time, vs. keeping the hopper full of beans and it uses the right amount of coffee based on the water you add. This is how the previous model worked that this coffee maker replaced. Other than that the coffeemaker works great.

About the only feature missing is a warning light to indicate when the heating unit needs descaling. Otherwise, once you get used to a thermal carafe which isn’t reheatable, it’s really nice. Keeps coffee warm, not hot, for long period of time. Non heating feature does keep coffee fresher tasting.
