This is our 2nd grind and brew coffee maker from Cuisinart, first one lasted 14 years. This certainly a nice way to have a fresh ground coffee each day. Really like the thermos pot, keeps coffee warm for hours.

I would prefer the model where you filled it with a bag of beans and it measured out the proper amount based on water. Not sure why the discontinued the the other one, but this model is more inconvenient.

I had the same previous model for many years (10+). When the old one finally started to give out (was leaking from the bottom), we researched top of the line alternative coffeemakers. I came back to this same, slightly updated model, and I’m glad I did. I like the combo grind with filter, because I usually add a scoop of ground Hazelnut coffee to the filter for a little flavor, then grind fresh regular Breakfast Blend beans. Some of the old parts will still work in this new one, so I saved them, just in case. Overall, I’d prefer the same model, but with a 6-Cup size, because I almost never make more than 4-5 cups daily. It’s nice they sent a few paper filters as a starter, but I wish the filters they sent were the brown unbleached kind, instead of the white bleached filters (more care for the environment).

I was hoping this machine would keep the coffee warm after it finished brewing!

I purchased this to replace my previous 12 cup version that I had for over 10 years. I was so pleased with the previous one, I did extensive searches to find one that is the most similar. It is so convenient to grind the beans and brew in one appliance, the carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours. I was looking for an update and am very pleased.

Important to clean it thoroughly after each brewing for best taste and smoothest operation. Then the best tasting coffee when you use quality beans.

We are enjoying the coffee maker which we purchased to replace a previous Cuisinart model. The only issues we are having is that the thermal carafe retains water between its layers from the dishwasher after removal and it would be helpful if a lite would remain on once brewing is finished in order that one could know when the unit is on.

Coffeemaker is easy to use. Biggest complaint is my own fault. Since I bought it online, I didn’t realize you had to measure out your coffee every time, vs. keeping the hopper full of beans and it uses the right amount of coffee based on the water you add. This is how the previous model worked that this coffee maker replaced. Other than that the coffeemaker works great.

Received as a Christmas gift and was excited about its ability to grind and brew by timer. Great concept but have mixed feelings about the entire system. 10 cups is fine but would prefer 12 cup. The stainless carafe is cool-literally. The instructions recommend rinsing it out with hot or warm water prior to brewing to help keep the temperature up but that’s not practical. If you set timer for early and then dont consume within reasonable time post brewing, then you will have to reheat your cup of coffee in microwave. Wish it just had a longer hot plate run cycle. Having said that, I love coffee and enjoy the auto grind ability. I just set timer to finish closer to my availability to begin drinking almost immediately after it completes brewing. If your looking at purchasing, I encourage you to look at others for comparison and think through your coffee drinking habits. Maybe it’s limitations actually fit your schedule perfectly. Knowing what I do now, I would likely have selected a different kind.

This was a replacement of our old 12 cup Cuisinart Grind and Brew, which finally fizzled out after many years of heavy use. We opted for the 10 cup thermal version this time around, which is perfect as opposed to the glass carafe. This version is a touch quieter during the grinding and the coffee stays hot longer without having it on the burner. I think the coffee tastes better this way. The only compliant is that the grinds don’t shoot through to the filter as smooth as the previous version.

This coffee pot does what it says it does. I am very pleased and recommend it if you want a grind and brew pot. It eliminates the mess of transferring the grounds from the grinder to the pot. I chose the metal carafe since I believe it holds heat longer

It works well and it fits under my cupboards. My only question is why are all the parts black except for the grinder lid? It’s clear plastic, or was. It was stained after the first use. It seems black plastic would have been better. It’s not like you need to see the coffee why it is ground. I wish also the clock had a back light. It’s very small so hard to read. The only other improvement that could be made is the opening of the thermal canister could be larger so you could put your hand in there to wipe it out.

This coffee pot is wonderful! This is the second one we’ve had and we still love it. The pot is in breakable and keeps the coffee hot for hours.

This is the second grind and brew coffeemaker I have owned by Cuisinart. I love how great the coffee tastes and the ease with which it can be cleaned.

Cuisinart makes the best coffee makers! I have been using this brand since the late ’90’s. Two things I would change: bring back the glass-lined thermal carafe and slow down the flow of the coffee when pouring. These two missing features kept the coffee hotter for much longer (4-6 hours after brewing). The buzzer that reminds you the coffee maker isn’t ready to use is a great added feature.

I like this coffee maker so much that I’ve owned about a half a dozen. They work well for a couple years of daily use and then break. It’s usually the motor that gives out, sometimes a leak.

This is a great coffee maker and the SS carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. It has a nice grinder and makes perfect grounds. I wish the brew water went through the grinder to get the fine dust out, that would make it easier to clean. The steam from the brewing makes the residue stick in the grinder and you have to wash it out and dry it really good between pots.

I love having the grinder and brewer together but years of use causes bottom to rust and leak. This is my third one.
