We had a similar Grind and Brew Coffee maker by another brand and loved it but after 6 months the grinder stopped working so they replaced it under warranty and then the heating element went out after 5 months so we decided to try a different brand. We have only had this coffee maker about a month but so far it is superior over the other one we had. This one does a better job grind the bean, gets the coffee hotter and seems to be overall a better built machine.

Actually, the coffee maker works great, but the carafe leaks between the top plastic handle and the glass carafe. I need to request a replacement from Cuisinart.

This was a replacement for a Cuisinart Burr Grind and Brew – 12 Cup Stainless Drip Coffee which one day quit – it was a wonderful pot and also served as our alarm clock. This new one fits the bill – however it is a glass pot instead of stainless like my old one – and seems to have more plastic than the old one! The new Cuisinart does make an wonderful coffee – we are overall happy with it – but we are still getting used to the differences.

This has been great! The grinder feature is nice, does a good job. You can set it to start automatically. Grinder is kind of loud, as expected. There are light sleepers in my house. Can use ground coffee as well. Nice big time display. Easy to use.
