Reasonably well made, although some of the plastic parts are flimsy: a piece, part of the carafe top cover that allows the coffee to flow through, snapped … Don’t try to remove the cover off the carafe by pulling on it… So far happy with the grinder and the hopper design (after 1 month of use). Most important: it can brew delicious coffee. But the product has other caveats:- there is a setting to choose how finely the beans should be ground, but it is still fairly coarse even at the finest setting.- this machine won’t make coffee that is strong enough for those who likes strong coffee, even at the strength setting set to the maximum.- the machine will brew all the water in the reservoir, instead of stopping at the number of cups desired (some machines have that functionality); on the other end this enables a work around to get stronger coffee: use less water than the number of cups you set the coffee maker to.- the heating plate is too hot, and the coffee left in the carafe quickly gets a burnt state (note: I particularly hate the taste of burnt coffee and may be more sensitive than most).

Finally, no more brewing through those little plastic containers that fill our landfills. True coffee brewed from the ground bean and heated through a filter with water that’s filtered with a charcoal filter. Taste so good.
