This is my third unit of the same genre. They generally last for a few years then stuff starts going array with them. Sad that Cuisinart cannot make a long term reliable product.

I was still using the 14 year old version of this coffee maker and decided to upgrade It sits bigger on the counter A better feature in this version is that it will alert you if you haven’t emptied the filter basket A little more difficult to program the timer the grinder is marginally quieter. It does allow for a adjustment for strength which is a nice feature Overall I am pleased with the purchase

It is very attractive, but most importantly, it makes GREAT COFFEE, and it is easy to use and clean!

This is an attractive appliance, simple to use, with well-written instructions. It brews great coffee, either whole bean or ground. The trick is to get it from the carafe to your cup. I always brew a full carafe, and the first half or so pours directly from the spout into the cup. Below half, and the coffee flows to the sides of the opening as well as the spout, and much of it misses the cup, which is both frustrating and messy. Perhaps I have a defective lid, but it is such a simple device I don’t see how. So far the solution is to remove the lid before pouring.

Works great , excellent coffee easy to program coffee every morning set it for 430 so when I get up it’s ready to go at 5o’clock

Love the machine and its convenience and operation. Only criticism is that the strength dial does not seem to change the actual amount of grounds and therefore, you get the same strength, regardless of how you set the desired strength. Only way I found to get around that is to select the number of cups less than the amount of water poured into the reservoir (i.e., select 8 cups but pour in 10 cups of water).

Well, I’m glad you asked. This is the third coffee grinder of yours we bought. They seam to have ONLY a 2 years life expectancy. (2 returned) The no grind Duel coffee & Keurig maker leaked. This new 10 cup won’t keep an actual time. There for my morning coffee is a SUPRISE if it on time. Usually about 4 hours early, I have to manually push button if I want to enjoy “kinda” hot coffee when I wake in the am. I’m pretty bummed out in the makers them selves. I’m getting fed up with sending back only to receive another WITH issues. Kinda fed up , very disappointed. Only reason we are still ducking round is the customer service and the ability to exchange easily. But like all toxic relationships, this will come to an end. About to send another back.

Love this brewer and its features. The only negative is actually quite annoying. Liquid cannot pour out of the carafe without spilling and leaking. Has happened on every Cuisinart I have used. I have owned 5 different ones and my parents have yet another. Same issue with them all. But I still buy because I love everything else.

The thermal pot doesn’t keep the coffee hot for a long enough time.

Brews excellent coffee from whole beans. The only (minor) problem is that the pour spout causes coffee to dribble down the side of the pot onto the counter.
Cathrine Kessler (verified owner) –
Like everything except the carafe! Coffee dribbles out and splashes. Also, because of the interior shape, it is very difficult to completely empty carafe leaving at least a half cup of coffee which necessitates tipping the carafe completely upside down causing further dribbling and splashing.

I would give it a 5 star rating but can’t get past the drippy pours. The old one was worse and this one is much better. Coffee is consistent great with the same strength and flavor. Easy cleanup, coffee stays hot for a long time in the carafe. Set up was easy and the auto feature works well. All in all I’m pleased with the purchase and performance of the coffee maker.

Works well, easy to use. The grinder is extremely loud, louder than our previous Cuisinart coffee makers.

My last two coffee makers were cuisinart grind and brew. I wanted another one when I purchased this one because the other two were dependable and always did a great job. I like the fact that this is a 10 cup, programmable coffeemaker, and that I can adjust the strength setting. I also wanted a thermal carafe. It’s exactly what I was shopping for. My only complaint is that it doesn’t pour as easily as the last one. The shape of the lid and the way it sits in the carafe make it difficult to pour without dripping coffee. My prior carafe wouldn’t fit properly in this machine, so trading out is not an option. However, it’s a small price to pay in order to get the exact system I was hoping for. So all in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Who knew that starting your first pot in the morning with the sound of grinding beans could create the best pot of coffee you’ve ever had?! I am so grateful we chose THIS coffee pot over the myriad of ones out there. We could have spent A LOT more, but I’m not convinced it would have produced any better coffee. I’ve had a couple questions since buying it, and the Cuisanart customer service team has been terrific about timeliness and ideal response to satisfy my questions/concerns. Thanks for making a great product, and for my first coffee pot I’ve ever owned to be such a joy!
