Coffee maker works great. Burr grinder makes a nice even grind and has settings for strength. Grinder is a bit loud so don’t set it too early or it’ll wake you up. Hopper holds enough beans for several full pots and seals tight so they don’t dry out. Design of the thermal carafe lid is not good. When pouring, coffee comes out the sides and spills on the counter. Everything is easy to clean and it’s straightforward to program for an automatic brew.

We are using it at a second home where it gets use a 4x per month. No problem with the leaking when pouring as other reviewers mentioned. Actually our old Cuisinart coffeemaker leaked much more.

We’ve had Grind and Brew makers for the last 15 years; this is the first with burr grinder. Pros: Easier to clean. We like the thermal carafe. Cons: Can’t set it for an odd number of cups (we usually made 7 cups for the day). Had some trial and error to get the strength where we like it; the “strong” setting wasn’t strong enough, so we put in 7 cups of water and tell it to grind for 10. Also, have to swirl the pot before pouring the first cup or that first cup will be a little weak.We haven’t had any issues pouring from the carafe as some people have; it pours smoothly without drips.

Excellent hot coffee, and an improvement over the previous version, which we still use In the family. Carafe keeps coffee hot for hours. Bravo!

Makes Great Coffee! Would have received 5 stars if it brewed 12 cups. Also, the thermal carafe does not keep coffee hot for very long. But this version of the grinder fixes many problems with older versions, so that is a plus!

We have been a fan of the Cuisinart Burr Grind and Brew for a while. This is a new version for us and we are continually impressed. It has made us coffee snobs really — as good as any coffee shop around.

it is a fine product. we have two, a 10 and a 12.

So easy to use. Easier to see the numbers for setting time and program. Easier to clean. It is a little loud but makes such good coffee.

It is very easy to use, but it makes the coffee very strong. It’s hard to adjust to mild coffee. And it only makes 10 cups which is also disappointing. But I do love it!!

Coffee brewer is slow, and customer service is difficult to satisfy all guidelines when help is needed.

Had a classic grind and brew from Cuisinart and liked it. The blade chopper worked but when i got a taste of the burr grind, i was sold. Great unit

Love this coffee maker. The built in grinder makes for fresh coffee every morning. Love the insulated coffee pot, it keeps the coffee warm all morning. The only down side it is difficult to clean. Overall great product!

Makes great coffee. I wish there was a 12 cup version.

the function of choosing a specific amount of cups to brew (and only using the appropriate amount of water for that choice) does not and did not ever work from day one. The machine uses all the water that is in reservoir. I ended up learning the right amount of water to brew 6 cups and just fill it up to the same amount ever time to get the right balanced cup. Wish it worked better but I didn’t want to deal with shipping it back. Besides that, easy enough to clean and looks sleek.

This is our 3rd Burr Grind & Brew. Because this style design is different from our first two burr grinders, we had a difficult time adjusting to making coffee in the morning. We finally got the hang of it and are loving it. We do notice that the coffee leaks from the lid when pouring. It has to be locked in place. We also have a difficult time changing the number of cups desired.

Our latest Burr Grind and Brew 10 Cup Coffeemaker has been such a delightful part of our mornings. The choices of cups of water is separate from the amount of coffee ground for a certain number of cups of coffee. This gives you a direct impact on the strength or weakness of the coffee. The metal carafe that stores the coffee keeps it hot, enjoyable and easy to pour. Thanks, Cuisinart!

This is my third purchase of their grinder. The first two broke after about 7 years. They seem to have fixed the lid problem that always got clogged up, the cleaning of the ground beans shoot with a clean light and a light telling you to clean the system with vinegar. These problems made me have to buy a new one twice because it was to late to fix. These makers are expensive so it’s about time they fixed it, I hope.
