I haves used this for beef jerky exclusively so far. I get 2lbs. of ground beef jerky on the racks. So far I have done about a dozen 2lb batches and it works just as advertised.

I use our Dehydrator primarily for drying herbs and fruit. It does an excellent job drying however the drying guide that comes with it did not work for me. For instance the herbs needed to be dried on med. setting instead of low and the apple slices on high instead of med. Also the oval shape looks nice but stacking the trays is a little cumbersome because of that.

Very easy to use. I bought dehydrator in response to Covid-19 situation & my desire to have fruits and veggies in my pantry so I don’t have to shop. Bananas, sweet potatoes,white potatoes, are all I have done in the week I have owned dehydrator. Because I don’t have an air extractor from the freezer bags I am using, I keep packages in a bottom drawer of my fridge as recommended. Fruits keep 6 months, veggies keep 12 months in fridge.

Bought thus about 3 weeks ago and have tried everything from jerky to fruit to fruit rolll ups. Its easy tio use and you can find dozens of recipies on line .have otdered the additional trays you can use 9 as well as the liners fir roll ups to make it even more versatile

It does as advertised and is one of the best priced dehydrators I could find. I would advise you to also by an apple peeler, or similar, so you do not have to spend much time manually preparing what you wish to dehydrate.The fan does make some noise, but overall it is pretty quiet. I leave it on our stove top so it has clearance above it for any heat that escapes. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a beginning dehydrator.
