The Cuisinart Food Dehydrator makes it easy to create nutritious, delicious, dried snacks like meat jerky, fruit roll-ups, and veggie chips. Works as advertised. I have read some reviews in which others complained about having to flip the food being dried and having to restack the trays during use… its really NOT that physically challenging to do either of those tasks.

I had a dehydrator identical to this, but the motor gave out after a short life. I love the 4 settings – I usually use the highest. Trays are easy to clean. No way to easily clean the base if anything gets into the open fan area. Love the add’l rolll up sheet – wish there were more.

You need to change the wording to 5 Tray Dehydrator! I ordered this twice and it only comes with 5 trays not 9. Very misleading! It can however hold 9 trays. I do love the product, just wish it would have came with more trays like it said!

First time I used it, I was rather cautious and didn’t know exactly how long I should dehydrate the fruits. After reading some helpful hints on the internet I learned how to prevent the fruit from sticking to the trays. The last time I used it it was wonderful. I put a dab of EVOO on a paper towel and ran it over the trays. Then I turned the dehydrator on High and let it go. The result was fantastic. The fruit came right off, did’t stick. The fruit was not bendable, but dehydrated to perfection. I am a brand name shopper. I can always depend on Cuisinart for dependable products in my kitchen.
