I bought this a few weeks ago. The first one I had trouble with but it was replaced immediately and the replacement was great. It was not noisey at at all and we were able to dry our persimmons. They were delicious and we will be drying more fruit as they become ripe.

Does exactly what you want it to do. Comes with an instruction book with a bunch of recipes, as well as a table showing standard drying times for various kinds of foods, including the temperatures each setting goes up to. The trays can be a bit finicky to fit together, but hold firmly together once mated. A bit noisy, but not too bothersome if you’re in another room from it.
