The Cuisinart Food Dehydrator makes it easy to create nutritious, delicious, dried snacks like meat jerky, fruit roll-ups, and veggie chips. It preserves foods naturally, without additives or preservatives. A powerful 620-Watt motorized fan has a top vent that allows heat to circulate evenly and efficiently, for faster drying and excellent results. An adjustable thermostat allows for different temperatures, depending on the type of food that’s being dried. With ample space to accommodate large quantities of food, the dehydrator has five interlocking trays that stack on top of one another for easy placement. The options for this appliance are endless, including dried herbs, dried fish, potato crisps, yogurt, dog treats – even dried flowers for potpourri! Helps save money and prevents food waste.

I do love the dehydrator I don’t love that there is only 5 trays and only 1 plastic tray for the roll ups. There are very hard to find.

Great for the beef/hamburger jerky. Tried it on some fruits and it just turned out okay. I noticed that everything I have made so far had to be in the dehydrator an additional one hour though. Machine was very quiet and well made.

Machine works as should. The beef jerky recipe in the manual is really good, but I would only dehydrate for 4 hours or else really dry. Plantain chips are dry and crisp, but not the same as deep fried. Good to use with dips tho! Overall a good purchase for at home use!
