My order arrived when promised, and in good condition. Cuisinart has a reputation for quality and value, and this food processor does not disappoint! Anything I didn’t understand in the manual, was fully explained in the You Tube videos posted online. I want to thank the store staff at the Rt.9 Toms River Home Depot for their excellent customer service and Bob, the store manager. It’s nice to meet an honorable man.

Quiet, powerful motor. Easily sliced raw potatoes for scalloped potatoes and other vegetables such as cabbage for slaw, onions, etc. Lots of interlocks to preclude chopping off fingers, etc., but interlocks made it interesting/cumbersome to use the machine. I suppose after a period of use this will become easier.Haven’t tried it for making pie crust – this was a must-do task to properly assess its overall utility. Haven’t tried it for chopping walnuts or other nuts.Like anything of its complexity, cleaning is tedious but no necessarily difficult. It is moderately heavy and doesn’t slide easily because of silicone feet. I have left it on the counter to avoid moving into and out of storage cabinetry. It requires lots of cabinet space/volume for its bulky attachments, but that was expected.Overall, so far, it seems like a good multi-tasker purchase but time will reveal the true nature of it.

Excellent product, although I did not care for the spatula. It does a good job scraping the sides of the bowl, but I need to be extra careful to keep it away from the blades. Twice the spatula got caught on the tip of the blade and had to literally disassemble things to get the spatula “unstuck”.

It looks great in my kitchen. Would be nice if the funneling of food was in the front of processor instead of back.

This might sound silly, but I get a little thrill putting an onion or other item down the shoot and having it chopped or grated way smaller, in a flash; its like magic. I do not like the part that it takes longer to clean soft cheeses out of the grates than to grate it, so I just do the whole two pounds at once and save it. My other “gripe” is the extra blades cost quite a bit. But I do think its worth it, when you divide up the time it takes. And how much better something is when it can be chopped up finely. Say, chicken meat. It pulverizes it so small, way smaller than I could do with a knife–for chicken salad. Or drop some brussel sprouts and shred them into a salad. Or make the pieces extra fine for salsa flavors to meld. I am a health conscious person, and a semi-foodie, so that means cooking at home quite a bit, but I do not want to be tied to the kitchen and to cleaning time. This cuts prep time down tremendously. It was a practical decision and investment.

I have used this machine now about a dozen times. Will use it today and tomorrow to make a lot of pasties.I like to make a German Pfeffer Tomato Soup which contains a lot of shredded carrots and thinly sliced celery. Just the shredding of the carrots took me 1/2 hour or more by hand. Now with the Cuisinart…less than 4 minutes! Plus my right hand is not sore the next day from all the manual shredding by hand! I use the largest cutter or slicer to do the celery and it also is done in 2 minutes or less. WOW!Now I make it more often for my family and friends

I have only used it twice so far but it seems fine. I watched different videos several times; they were helpful in figuring out how each piece went together and also offered tips on how to use each blade. I am new to using a processor. A video was not included in the package; thank goodness for YouTube!

Does an excellent job. The blades are very close to the bottom of the bowl so the mixing is quite uniform and there is less trapping than in other models.

I have this same model of Cuisinart Processor and have been shopping for another to buy for my granddaughter. This is a workhorse and indispensible for someone who loves cooking. I also bought one for a daughter and son in the last few years, I hope this model will be available for a long time to come.
