Replaced an old model. The plastic cover had broken and needed replacing but the model itself had been phased out. I decided that it was a good time to replace the whole unit with it’s new equivalent and am very happy with it.

My Cuisinart Food processor, purchased in the 1970’s has been a work horse. I bougt this as its replacement. The motor is a little stronger. The way the feed tubes work a little less concevient and seems a little less sturdy. In general my Cuisinart products have served me well.

This new custom 11-cup food processor was bought to replace the similar model my wife has used for at least 40 years. Yes, 40 years. Over that amount of time, the plastic bowl and cover were starting to crack and replacements just were not available. However the old machine still runs like new. I suspect this new machine will probably last just as long as the old one which is money well spent.

This is the second Cuisinart food processor I have owned. I bought the first one nearly 30 years ago and used it until it began falling apart a couple years ago. The one I have now is smaller as my family is much smaller.

Loved it and it’s easy to use. I just used it for the first time to chop/slice fresh vegetables for my bean casserole that was cooking on the stove and crockpot. I had a Cuisinart Food Processor for 41 years before this but the motor was burning out from constant use. This is what made made buy a new one. The different was the old model had the stems attached to the blades and the new one you had to attached the stem to each blade manually which I didn’t like. It took me over a 1/2 hour to figure out how to insert the disc to the blades. I wish the book or their website had photos or video on how to do this. I like the different feed tubes and one being wider than what was on my old model. Another good thing is the base didn’t jump all over the counter like the old one and it stayed in place. It’s easier to store in my kitchen cabinets because the stems come off the blade. When I went to take the stem off the blade it was easy.
