I am disappointed that a better book with recipes is not available without going on line. I have seen tv shows where a food processor is being used, but nothing included with purchase. My husbsand is also active in the kitchen but does not use computer. The directions do not include complete instructions to assemble, leaving to trial and error.

I needed to replace my 14 year old 4-cup processor and decided to go with this much larger 11 cup Cuisinart. I have only used it twice, and have only used the shredding blade, but it did a great job shredding my vegetables. I was also pleased with how relatively quiet it is compared my previous processor. It’s sturdy and quite large, but will not fit under my upper cabinets, so I store it on top of the refrigerator. I wish it had a blade compartment built into the bottom for the discs (like my old processor did), but that’s a small price to pay for this upgrade. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

I receive one as a bridal shower gift 37 years ago. The first time I used the food processor, one of the tabs on the bowl snapped off that help lock it into place on the base. It still works, but I have to be careful each time I use it. Same thing happened on my 8 cup Cuisinart. Parts that are plastic are not very strong.
