As a food processor,I think it is great. However, I have arthritis in my hands and wanted the grating and slicing discs. Did not realize I had to cut things so small to get through the tube. A cucumber or potato will not fit without first cutting it down. I would have returned it without using it but didn’t try that part of the machine until I had used it for quite some time.

A little lighter than my old one, since you have gone to a plastic body. But, we like it……..it’s still a Cusinart.

I purchased my new food processor by Cuisinart due to my old one, purchased in the 1980’s, having gotten old and difficult to use. My new one is in no way as good as the original models. The blade doesn’t even begin to match the old one for mixing items in the bowl. What’s with the new half sharp, half smooth blade? I am so bummed, but have no recourse that I can see. The bowl is also a bit smaller.

I’m new to using a food processor. I bought this one on sale because I needed one to make cauliflower mashed potatoes (low carb diet). Anyway, I love it and so does my husband!

I finally wore out my old processor (which made me happy :)). I had been wanting to replace it with a higher powered Cuisinart knowing it was the best. This model is moderately priced, and did a far better job than my old unit. The true test was homemade hummus. This machine made the creamiest most wonderful batch. Also, the adjustable slicer is wonderful. I can finally remove the band-aids from my finger tips and toss the mandoline!

This is my second food processor by Cuisinart. My first one I had for 15 years plus. It served my needs well. And when it died, there was no hesitation about which food processor I would replace it with and that another Cuisinart FP. I’m very pleased with my new my replacement and will continue to always use cuisinart products, because their great!

I bought my new cuisinart because after 20 years mine stopped working. My only issue I have with the new is I was shredding cabbage and a lot of it got stuck Under sides of cover. Had to do frequent clean outs. Is this commonOther than that It still is a great performer.

I am so happy with this new food processor! My old one was over 20 years old. This has so many more options. The slicing blade makes it so easy to adjust thickness!! GREAT feature!!

Although this looks sleeker and has more horsepower than our old (less expensive) food processor, it simply doesn’t work as well. It appears to be a design problem with the chopping blade, with leaves large chunks of matter while over-processing some of the same. It just doesn’t do a very good job. (For example, carrots will end up liquefied or in chunks, but it’s hard to get anything in between!) We’re putting this one in storage and will use it for emergencies if the old one fails. Really disappointed!

It did not grate onion well. I’m also worried about the long plastic piece on the pusher that has to engage for food processor to operate—looks like it will break easily.

Bought because could not find replacement bowl for 30 year old machine. Crazy bowl and lid cover. Seems to not have any sturdy parts ( light plastic). Cheaper quality blades and construction. Would not purchase again.

I am loving my processor for sure. I had another brand that I was very disappointed with. Returned it and then purchased the Cuisinart It has lots of power, good size feed tube and two sizes of shred. The other great feature is the adjustable slicing blade. Of course, it does great job. on the chopping

The food processor is exactly what I wanted. I like the fact that it has only features that I use and easy to instal. Also, I like the size of the bowl–nothing too large.
