This is my third food processor from Cuinart. The first I purchased in the late ‘80s and loved it. The was one was a gift received three years ago and I loved it. Unfortunately a small piece of plastic broke on the food chute and eventually required replacement. The replacement food chute only worked once and thus the third purchase of this model. This particular model is wonderful as the blade locks into the bowl, enabling easy pouring of contents from the bowl. It also has a seal on the lid to prevent spillage when pureeing. The adjustable slicing blade and the machine’s power were the final reasons for buying yet another Cuisinart. Great product so far.

This Cuisinart replaces a 11 cup I have had for 15-20 years.t The 12 cup Elite is so powerful. I love the adjusting of the slicing bland and that the blades do not fallout when removing food. I have had it for a short time but am amazed how well it works. It pulverizes ground meat for wonderful homemade sausage and gyros. If you love to cook, you will want to check out this machine!

We replaced an ancient Cuisinart with this new model, and it works great. We are very happy with it.

This is my second Cuisinart processor the first I purchased in 1989 the bowl broke. I tried to live without a processor and found I would not create some of my recipes. I like that there are two size bowls with this model. I am a definite fan of Cuisinart.

Beautiful and functional. I use my processor almost every day. I’ve used it to make cookies, sausages, salads, pickles, and dozens of other things. Very powerful, easy to use, and fits in perfectly with my other cuisinart appliances.

This food processor is amazing. It has the power I needed to make heavy cookie dough. The smaller basket is great for making dressing and sauces. I don’t need so many blades to slice with, saves space on the shelf. Just a great package.

I have only used this new food processor a few times but it impresses greatly with the speed and efficiency. Another plus is the level of noise – much quieter than my last one. Each part is of high quality material. Highly recommend!

We use this everyday.. Our 3rd one because we’ve had so many

Very solid processor. Heavy base (motor) so it does not move much. All the components fit very tightly (especially the spindle extension). The rubber gasket in the cover seals pretty well, though needs to be removed from time to time for a thorough washing (depending on type of food being prepared). Overall, highly recommended.

I was given this for christmas, but it is my third one. this one is suppose to be a more powerful model so should last longer. I use it just about every day for something. New one has more items with it which is great!

This is my third Cuiinart food processor. My last one was DLC 10. It lasted for many years. I donated it, 5 years ago and just had to replace. I chose this one for it’s 1000 watt motor, dual work bowls, adjustable disks and ease of operation.

Powerful, quietly takes on most everything. New design is wonderful, larger bowl, easy lid placement too. The blades and all the other attachments take on the job, period! I highly recommend this processor to everyone who enjoys cooking with less hassle.

The lid placement is so much easier on this processor. The buttons do not take excessive pressure to operate. So nice. I use it almost daily. I hated having to get the old processor out of the cupboard. Instead I would just chop everything by hand. The cleanup is much easier too.

I love my food processor. It is much more powerful and faster than the last one I had. It also cleans up easily and is sturdier.

It grinds and chops quickly. I pureed my pinto beans for refried beans and they came out wonderfully. Love that it’s easy to clean also.

I have only used it once so far but if someone purchases this they should definitely become familiar with the “parts” and how they are used. Don’t just open it up and start it up without reading the instructions. Very versatile machine.

Because of arthritis in my hands, I couldn’t open and close my old food processor & chose this one because of the push button lid. I’ve only used it a few times, but I can open and close it by myself. I do have a little difficulty dialing the thickness on the blade but can do it with the help of a rubber gripper. I didn’t realize that it’s a bit taller than my previous Cuisinart and am still trying to find a convenient place to store it in my kitchen. It doesn’t quite fit under my upper cabinets but all in all I am happy with my purchase. I am not a baker (except for pies dough that I haven’t yet made) but I like the convenience of chopping and slicing. For me, the place to wind the cord underneath is worthless because it is too heavy to do it. It would be more helpful on the back or if retractable.
