This is my first ever food processor. I am learning as I go about its capabilities. thus far, it’s easy to clean (hand wash, not using dishwasher). I’ve used the dicing feature and have realized that it has to be cleared out as I go, but works well. Saving me time and counter space while doing food prep was the objective behind buying this particular food processor. It does those things.

So far, I love it. It’s much more complicated than my old one. Once I get use to it, I’m sure I’ll raise the rating.

I have used the slicer, dicer and the chopper so far and am very impressed with how they work. Certainly makes soup preparation fast and easy. Looking forward to using the other features.

Great size great attachments and a very reasonable price for what you get.

Basically I like this food processor. I have not used it enough to give a detailed review, but here’s what I have noticed. When shredding, the food gets caught in the rim of the bowl. When dicing, the last of the food gets caught in the blades. I could not figure out that the pusher ( metal part) must be in place for the processor to work when shredding.

Just what I needed. It is a versatile and robust machine with a myriad of specialty attachments. I can only hope to learn them all. I will rely on How-To videos posted online as there seems to be a lack of manufacturer’s videos showing best use practices for each of the attachments including helpful tips and tricks.

Love the dicing function. The small bowl inside the bigger is very handy

The dicing kit is totally squishing the softer veggies like peppers and the harder veggies like carrots get stuck in the blade and it takes forever to be clean out the stuck veggies – soft or hard.

The Cuisinart Elemental 13-Cup 3-Speed Food Processor and Dicing Kit, Gunmetal is the best purchase I could have made! It is very versatile and well made. This food processor does nearly everything you could want. I researched all the major brands and their various models for over three weeks. Reading countless reviews, before deciding on the Cuisinart Elemental 13-Cup 3-Speed Food Processor and Dicing Kit, Gunmetal! Very glad I bought it! I feel I made the right decision! I really wanted a machine with a dicing feature. No matter the brand, many complain about them being hard to use and clean or wasting a lot of food. So I was very hesitate! I’m pleased to say, upon first use, I loved the dicer on my Cuisinart! I diced 6 medium potatoes with it. Stopping after three to clean the dicing grid with the provided tool. As per THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL’s recommendations! It appears to me, many folks don’t take the time to read through it or are illiterate! Yes, cleaning the grid took a little time to do, but it is still way faster than doing the dicing by hand! The diced potatoes where nearly all perfect in size and shape. With very little waste left over. Clean up afterwards was not too bad either. I used a skinny soft bristle brush to assist with cleaning. Let the machine do the work! The blades are super sharp so you don’t need to push down on the pusher with any amount of force! All you need is to apply light, steady, even pressure on the pusher to assist in guiding the food through the feed tube! I have shredded both mozzarella and cheddar cheeses that turned out perfect! I have chopped pepperoni and made almond butter in the included small bowl, that both turned out great! I really like the small bowl, it saves time. And if you’re careful you won’t have to clean the large bowl underneath it, if you don’t use it afterwards. Nice! I’ve also made pizza dough as well as, pepperoni and cheddar cheese spread. The dough and spread turned out fantastic. Everything blended together well, only stopping occasionally to scrape sides of bowl with included spatula. The adjustable slicing disc works terrific for potatoes, cucumbers, carrots etc. And it’s very easy to adjust and use. The food processor motor is powerful enough to handle most anything and is average for noise level. The machine runs smoothly and doesn’t shake or vibrate much at all. I like the suction cups on the bottom of based to help keep it in place. The included storage containers are awesome and very convenient! This food processor has nearly everything you could want. I plan on purchasing the spiralizer kit soon. And hope Cuisinart will come out with a dicing grid that makes larger sized cubes for this model! If you purchase this Cuisinart, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied! It’s a lot of bang for the buck! Plus, it’s backed by a 3 year warranty, one of the best in the business!

I like my new food processor. It took me several weeks to decide which food processor to buy but, since I had already owned a Cuisinart, I decided to go with them again. This elemental 13 cup processor is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It does take up a little bit of room on the counter but it’s worth it to me. I love the tool box. It is so nice to be able to wash the accessories and put them right back where they belong. The locking or safety system is a little confusing at first but I have figured it out. The machine feels sturdy and has worked perfectly. It actually chops and grated in no time. I love it and would buy it again.

The dicing feature has a learning curve and isn’t perfect for all foods. Watch a video by cuisinart and understand the features

Lightweight plastic worries me. It all works but not sure for how long. Was going to return it but thought I would give it a try. The quality is not half as good as the Cuisinart I about 8 years ago. Not sure why I thought I needed to upgrade to a newer model. This is by no means an upgrade.

Outstanding !! Has changed my whole approach to preparing meals. The dicing attachment takes some practice but once you figure that out it’s fabulous. A bit of a clean up afterwards is only negative I can come up with , but the time it saves me daily is amazing. You can even slice bacon and ribeye steak when partially frozen !!

I have just received this and only used it a few times, but I like it and it seems to work well. The hardest part was learning how to put it together. If you don’t get the small mixing bowl in just right, you cannot close/lock the processor. I would have benefited in more detailed instructions on how to assemble the different bowls, slicers & dicers. Instead, I had to get a little frustrated by trial and error. That said, I am looking forward to trying more things with my Cuisinart 13 cup food processor.

Love the adjustable slicing blade! My VERY old machine that I was replacing had a whole separate box of blades and this is so much more convenient. The storage box for the extra pieces is great too.

I bought this a month ago and it has been used almost daily. The small bowl is a nice addition.

I got this to replaced my Kitchenaid FP. I decided to go with the original and am happy I did. For starters, it weighs a lot less than my old one, which means I’ll use it more. I haven’t used the dicing attachment yet but I have used the slicer, shredder, blade and both bowls. The lid has a gasket, so nothing leaks out of the bowl (salad dressing) (LOVE). The feeding tube is also nice, as there are a couple of sizes. The flat lid (yes, there are two lids!) has an opening to add liquid (no tube). Easy to clean as it’s dishwasher safe. Love this machine!
