We bought this based on its great reviews. While it is generally good for most things we find it ineffective and disappointing when we use the blade that grates. My husband uses this a lot to shred carrots for carrot cake. Large carrot pieces tend to slip under the blade and end up in the bowl. There is a slight gap btwn the blade and lid/bowl which I believe is a design flaw. We had another food processor for decades that was amazing but the bowl finally broke and cannot be purchased anymore.

Heavy duty. So far it’s been great for what I use it for. It doesn’t have a speed control, just one speed, which maybe it doesn’t need more than one. I’m happy.

I love the functionality of this product and how easy it is to clean! I always find myself holding the blade in place to empty the bowl and then I remember that it clicks in place and I fall in love with my food processor all over again! The two bowl sizes that nestle into each other for storage is such a great idea and you no longer need two different for processors. The storage box is perfectly designed to hold all of the different attachments and accessories. I think Cuisinart just might have thought of everything… I would buy it all over again!

This product needs a lot of instruction to be comfortable with it.

This was purchased to replace my 20-year old, 14-cup model. I decided to upgrade this time, as I consider this appliance to be my co-pilot in the kitchen. I am so impressed with the additional features. The bells & whistles on this model are wonderful and worth the extra but minor expense. I highly recommend this food processor!

I purchased this unit to replace another brand name that burned out.

After wearing out multiple inexpensive food processors that weren’t nearly as powerful but also sounded like a Leer Jet, I finally saved up for this one. I am so happy that I did! I love, love, love it! Heavy as a bag of bricks and that makes me happy as well. It doesn’t dance around on my counter and the sound doesn’t pierce my eardrums. Treat yourself to a quality product. You’ll be glad you did.

Although I’ve only used it 3 times it’s made our life easier. When it comes to making sauces and dips (that’s all we’ve used it for so far) it’s very simple. The machine Is so easy to use and quiet!

We got this to replace a 25 year old Cuisinart food processor that was still going strong. I love everything about it, the quiet and powerful motor, the size of the 14 cup containes, the blades, everything, but I do not like the fact that fairly large chunks of food get caught between the shredding blade and the top. Additionally, fairly large pieces of food don’t get shred and end up mixed in with the rest of the shredded vegetable. That really happened with my old Cuisinart.

I purchased thus Food Processor to replace my old Cuisinart 14 cup food processor. I loved it and know I will love this replacement.

I wish it were lighter and took up less space, but it does work very well and solves a lot of problems with the older models. It’s fast. The additional smaller bowl is great for smaller volumes. The double sided shredder is ingenious- flip to the size shredder rather than having 2 disks. The rounded bowl is easier to get out all the stuff with a spatula. The silicon gasket prevents liquids from leaking.all the parts are dishwasher safe… but there are a lot of parts that take up a lot of real-estate in the dishwasher. The container for the blades is nice, but again, takes up a lot of space.

The product is high quality and easy to clean. I have used the product making pesto and hummas just to name a few.

I mostly love my food processor– it’s easy to use and clean, and very efficient– except for grating/slicing. When you feed the vegetables into the food processor from the top, a pretty thick section can get stuck between the blade and the top, and doesn’t get forced through the blade. As far as I know this happens with food processors, but the gap is larger with this one than with past food processors I’ve had.

I love this product so much! I decided to order one after seeing how the product works on the cuisinart website. The feature to make a dough is amazing, no need to kneel the dough anymore, no mess, mix butter and flour really well in seconds, seriously! save a lot of the time, baking and cooking make it easier.

This is my third Cuisinart and they are all in working condition even though two were purchased in the 80’s and 90’s. I trusted the name so when they made a 14 cup model I bought it. The 14 Cup Model is very easy to use and I especially like the how wide the opening is as it accommodates whole fruit.

I have been a loyal Cuisinart user for 20+ years. This new Cuisinart is a tremendous improvement. Specifically, the touch controls, the ease with which the bowls fit into place, the smaller built-in bowl, and the pouring lip.
