love this food processor. easy to use and clean. I use it for making sauerkraut, pesto, and slicing fruit for drying and it does the job on these very different preparations.

Very happy with this purchase — it’s my favorite countertop kitchen appliance. It’s a quality machine at a good value. It’s the perfect size for a smaller family. It’s not overly bulky and easily fits in our cabinets. I have only used the standard blade attachment so far (I actually like chopping veggies, it’s meditative). I would highly recommend this product.

The main cutting blade is very thin. I’ve already got a nick in it.

I was looking for something a little bigger than my 2 cup food chopper by smaller than my big food processor to not only save some cabinet space but was more efficient for uses in my home for food preparation and recipes. For years I have either used my little food chopper and it has taken more time to chop or shred or gotten out the too big food processor which was a chore to dig it out from under the cabinet tucked in the back. I came across this little gem quite by accident and it has been aa blessing in disguise. It was perfect for chopping nuts Christmas cookie baking and for dinner preparation it worked great shredding and pulsing. Best yet, I keep it in the front of my cabinet and it is within easy reach whenever I need it. I am in love with this perfectly sized kitchen appliance and only wish I had found it sooner! So if you chop, shred and process and want something easy to handle and store, this is the appliance to get and have handy.

Easy to put together, change blades and no more cutting fingers. Love it.

The lid is hard to close but I finally got it to. Had I not read about others having this problem I would have thought it was defective and returned it. Now sometimes I can close it easily and sometimes still have trouble.

This is not a food processor… This is a CUISINART!

This Elemental 8 Cup replaced our 38 year old Cuisinart. Boy, have they made some improvements! I use this one more since it is not cumbersome and so way easier to clean

2 things1 the center post seems shaky.2 the pieces snap together pretty hard. It did mix everything up quickly.

I love this food processor! I’ve made several batches of peanut butter and recently I made almond & cashew too! It takes time but I’m so happy to have a processor to handle the job! Made hummus for the first time too! I know this was a great purchase and look fwd to trying new recipes.

It works works really well. It is much lighter than my previous Cuisinart food processor but it gets the job done.

works good for the price. when i grate cheese there is too much gap between the blade and the top of container, so your left with a big clump that doesn’t get grated very well.

Not for chopping apples, I must say. I pulsed, then ran it for a bit, then pulsed, then ran, etc. Several wedges of the apple never chopped. The apple had been first peeled, then cored and cut into 8 wedges via an apple corer/slicer. By the time I got most of the apple chopped, it had become applesauce, and became useless for my recipe in that state. There were even still some larger pieces that never chopped. Luckily, I had another whole apple. I manually chopped the apple, added it to the “applesauce”, and had to create a slurry with cornstarch and water in order to be able to use this mixture for my mini apple pies. A lot of extra work, with a machine I thought was going to cut my work in half. I used the machine again, the other day, to make smoothies. It worked pretty good for that. Maybe I should have just bought a blender. I’ll try it another day to see if it chops veggies for a chopped salad. Kinda scared of what might happen. Not too keen on drinking my salad.

You might possibly use it every day. It is easy to clean and the size is perfect when making meals for two to four people
