This is the perfect size for my needs. I have a small food processor which is my go to for small jobs. I had a large one that took up to much room and then just quit. This 8 cup size is perfect for mixing my strudel dough. My only complaint and the reason i gave it 4 stars is that it puffs out the flour when i pulse it. Otherwise it works so well, has great power, and makes short work of strudel dough. It cleans easily and i really like how easy it is to remove the chopping blade after use. It stores easily and doesn’t take up much cabinet room. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Good for smoothies, as a juicer, making hummus, dicing nuts, slicing cucumbers & veggies. And this was just the first day. Great workmanship: solid, fast, easy to clean.Make your kitchen sing with gourmet treats.

The eight cup is just perfect for this family of the senior citizens. No leftovers with the proportions I can serve up. I started slicing potatoes today for scolloped potatoes and then thought of my new helper. The speed was amazing. Old way is over for this gal.

I should have bought a larger one for pie crust dough

Works well. Easy to clean and reassemble. Only regret, wish I would’ve bought a larger model.

There are very few instances where you can use one simple to use device, for all parts of a recipe.Imagine a tray full of Calzones, where your Cuisinart made the dough, minced & mixed the spices into the sausage filling, sliced the green onions, and even shredded the mozzarella. All that, at a price point where you won’t mind picking up another one, to send off to school with your new graduate.Well done!

Seems to work fine. It was difficult to put top top because of not sliding easily to lock in place.

This is my second Cuisinart. The first lasted at least twenty years…and now this one is acting very nicely. Gets everything done.

I had the large model food processor for about 25+ years. It was large and heavy so I kept it in a cupboard and only took it out when absolutely necessary. The bowl developed a crack so liquids would leak. So my son bought me a new, smaller lighter one, which I can keep on the counter and have been using almost daily.

The quality is not the same as one purchased 30 years ago. The blades are not very efficient
