Probably will only be a temporary addition to my kitchen- very entry level – adjustment are a guess- meat gets stuck on the back side – guide piece doesn’t get you to the last piece- only hold small piece of meat…I’d move on and get the better one if you do a lot of slicing….

I’ve used this slicer for about a month now. I absolutely love it. I’ve sliced corned beef just like you’d get from of a deli. In addition to the corned beef, I’ve sliced homemade bread, cheeses and onions. I would have given this a 5-star (if I could do 4.5, I would) review except for the fact it’s a challenge to clean. None of these parts are dishwasher safe and there are nooks and crevices that to get completely clean, you need a rag and a butter knife. Honestly though, the quality and ease of the slicing process itself outweighs that minor cleaning inconvenience. Now, it’s one of my favorite appliances in my kitchen. Enjoy!

It does take a little getting used to. Depending on what you are slicing it seems to have a slight lag in horse power, but it doesn’t, it still goes right on through. Use this in combination with a foodsaver and you’ve got your source of lunch meat for a year. Perfect for home use. Lunch meat or bacon. Slice as thin or as thick as you want. This is a yes for the kitchen.
