We bought one for ourselves and a second as a gift for our daughter and her family. She has 8 children, so the slicer should gets lots of use.The slicer works well and allows you to cut fairly thin pieces of meet and then is easy to clean. I know it is not as big and elaborate as some very expensive commercial slicers, but for home and for the money it is great.

Received my slicer as a Christmas gift and had the chance to use it a week or so ago. It sliced the meat exactly as I liked it, thin and even. The only issue, if you call it that, is in the clean up. It took a little time to get the hang of it, but once I learned. It was fine.
