Not super heavy duty, but does the job. Would recommend for light household use. Used it to slice baked ham and an eye of round roast beef.

My husband Christmas present this year and he wasn’t really impressed with the not having an area for the meat to fall into. He thought there would be some sort of tray or something for the meat to fall on.

Food slicer is great. Light weight easy to clean. Yet powerful. Made a London broil and the slices of meat were terrific ..always trusted Cuisinart products. Great price and delivery was on time. Completely satisfied with the product and delivery time…..home depot always has a great selection of items.

After much research and many reviews, I finally found a home slicer I can depend on. I am so pleased with my purchase and actually enjoy slicing my own deli meats and cheeses. Cuisinart finally got it right… thank you !

This product is easy to use/clean and simple to understand. I’m very pleased with it. The only improvement that could be made to it is to have a platform on the back of it where the slided product falls.

Great for the price.Easy to set-up, use and reasonably easy to clean. The size is a little small (but they tell you that). So if you’re looking for something to slice ham, this is not a good choice. If you’re looking for something for beef roast, bread, fruit and other smaller items this is perfect. And the price is great compared to others. The one negative: the slide is plastic, feels cheap and the guard comes off too easily. But, again, at this price point that should be expected.

does a very nice job, at a good price..just wish it would tear down better for cleaning, more completely tear down

The slicing is very good but the cleaning is tedious.

Great slicer, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the width for slicing is a bit small. You cannot cut a whole ham. You must first cut the ham in half, then slice. Range of thickness for individual slices is great, from paper thin to nice and thick. I would recommend it.

It’s just the right size for home use, I don’t plan on slicing either large sizes or quantities of things. It is easy to disassemble and clean. The pusher, however, should be larger, the plastic one supplied is barely adequate.

It covers my expectation, thanks for yours delivery on time.

It works completely as expected. Has enough power to cut what I need. Blade removal and replacement is easy. If I had to find a complaint, it would be that there are a couple of nooks and crannies that are hard to clean. That is a minor consideration. I would recommend this device to anyone.

The slicer did OK, but I could not get nice even slices as you would with a higher priced professional unit. When slicing pastrami, the brisket would rotate on the carriage (pushed by the blade resistance) which would round off the face of the meat. It was however much better than trying to slice it by hand.

Thickness setting device does not stay locked in place. Must move back to original spacing several times during cutting.

Was a little skeptical because of the low price but surprised at it’s performance. Not the big heavy machine I used working a meat market years ago but very adequate for home use. First use was for home smoked bacon – cut the slab to fit slicer but it did a great job from thin to thick slices with cold bacon. Also sliced ham with good results. Clean up not a problem at all.
