Higher end griddle but found that the lower plate would not heat as high as the upper plate. It never got to the same heat level as the top. I will try it again and if it does not work return it.

It preheat quickly and grills evenly. There should be a larger channel from the back of the plates to the grease collector. It would be nice to also have a tilt function on the device too allow grease to run off the plates better.

This is the second Elite that I’ve purchased. It is so versatile. Steaks, chicken and fish grill to perfection and the ability to use it flat for cooking pancakes, eggs, etc. is wonderful. Paninis made with the Elite come out perfectly. I replaced an older model that started acting up after several years of heavy use. The non-stick finish on the new one is much better, although I still will always wash the grilling plates by hand. This is a great appliance to have in any kitchen.

We’ve had a new Griddler Elite for a month or so now. This device is the absolute best!! We cook everything on it now…breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can cook more food in less time and the clean up could not be easier! I cannot say enough good things about this grill. It’s very well made and attractive. It cooks evenly, accurately and much quicker than expected. It has a number of interesting and useful features like the adjustable top and the ability to open flat. It really is worth the price. Additionally, we purchased the Cuisinart Coffee Center several months ago. OMG!!! We’ve had every coffee maker every made…this is THE BEST ever!!
