This unit does exactly what I was hoping. I use it for panini sandwiches, quesadillas, grilling steaks, veggies, and virtually anything that I would do outdoors. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. It makes everything perfect! The first thing I choose to make on my Cuisinart – Griddler® Elite was a 1 inch filet mignon, medium rare. Just follow instructions, make sure you have the correct height for cooking on both sides then voila, perfection.

At first I was not so sure that I had made a good purchase considering how much. I have had and used other so called non-stick griddles and the coating came off very quickly with regular use and gentle cleaning. This unit has changed my mind. It is worth every penny. The plates are easy to remove and easy to clean. I use this every weekend for preparing my weekly lunches. It gets a lot of use. So far, the temperature matches my thermal infra-red temperature gauge and I am able to consistently prepare and cook meats, pennies, pancakes and others with precision timing and control. A little more expensive than others, but well worth it.

We replaced an older model. We ended up going with this model as my husband uses it the most. I like the display as easy to read for an older person. My husband loves using this. We like the additional space, being able to heat the top of the sandwich without the cheese sticking to the griddle, and the ability to sear. It is definitely larger for storage or counter space but I think worth it.

I love it! I use it mostly to grill fish and steaks. Since I like my steaks rare, I particularly like the “sear” setting which allows me to properly grill the outside while not causing the inside to overcook. I also allow the control this grill provides and the versatility to use it as a griddle.

I love the features and how this unit cooks food. I’ve had it a couple of weeks now and am beginning to wonder about the quality and design/engineering of the product. The 1st thing I’ve noticed is the mechanism that support the top griddle being only on one side causes the lid to be lower on one side than the other. The lid is too heavy to be supported only on one side. The next thing I’ve noticed is a heat crack on the front panel right next to the lower griddle. But my wife and I love this griddle.

It preheat quickly and grills evenly. There should be a larger channel from the back of the plates to the grease collector. It would be nice to also have a tilt function on the device too allow grease to run off the plates better.
