We live in a small apartment with limited counter and storage space and the versitility of this well designed and we’ll constructed small appliance not only enlarged our mealtime possibilities, but enabled us to get rid of our Foreman grill and our presto griddle, and free up enough storage space that we also bought a popcorn maker. I love this griddle. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it quit working after 5 months or so. Cuisinart did replace it fairly quickly. I use it on average 3 – 4 times a month. The clean up is a breeze. It’s great for low-fat cooking too.

I’ve been using this griddler for several months and have had no performance issues making stakes, burgers, and paninis. The height adjustment for melting cheese on open face sandwiches and burgers is nice also. Cleanup is easy too, I just wipe off any excess grease, clean with a soapy sponge rinse and let dry in the dish rack. I chose this because of it’s features such as the dual temperature controls and in plate heating elements. The only issue I had was the the socket head cap screws holding the upper plate and handle were loose but tightening with a 5mm hex wrench fixed that and the plates are now parallel when grilling. Overall this is a very nice griddler with good features.

Higher end griddle but found that the lower plate would not heat as high as the upper plate. It never got to the same heat level as the top. I will try it again and if it does not work return it.

I purchased this to replace an old grill that was used occasionally. I’ve use this at least 3 times per week! It gets hotter faster than my old grill and cooks quickly and evenly, and the grill marks rival our Weber! So far I’ve done shrimp skewers, tuna steaks, chicken breasts and even a butterflied pork tenderloin. I wish I had more counter space because it doesn’t make sense putting it away
