The fold flat ability is sooo handy. The adjustable temperature is awesome so it cooks things evenly. It’s so easy to clean and the plates are not heavy. The whole thing is surprising light. I love this thing! I have a small stove & a small kitchen. Now, I can cook a big breakfast with ease instead of having to keep items warm in the oven because I can’t fit more than one large pan on my stove. I can do pancakes, bacon or French toast on the griddle while eggs & hash browns can cook in the stove. I grill chicken 3-4 times a week and every time it’s terrific.

This item is amazing. I can cook chicken thighs, steaks, and burgers for dinner in a matter of minutes and I only ever have to clean the two plates and the drip tray. I can also make quesadillas or grilled cheese in an instant. I also love that it lets you know when it is hot – no more soggy or underdone grilled sandwiches because I didn’t know the pan wasn’t hot enough!

This is such an improvement over the older model, that I use it frequently for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just the other night I grilled salmon in five minutes to serve over spinach and doused in Hollandaise sauce. Swedish pancakes to Reubens sandwich for lunch. You don’t have to worry about which plate goes where, and the heat control and simmer a blessing.

This is the 2nd Griddler that I have owned. This new appliance has improved in that it is easier to clean. Unfortunately it has not improved all that much in the heating element. Would I buy another in the future? Probably as I really like the size of this model and it is the best I’ve found so far and I’ve tried quite a few.
