This ice cream maker has change my life. I love it. I am having so much fun creating different flavors. It is so much easier than my old frozen bowl style and this churns the ice cream better. It’s texture is like the real thing. Creating flavors also becomes addicting. It is the best addiction to have I feel. I would recommend this ice cream maker to everyone….hands down.

I love it the only thing I would like more is for it to me a little larger

Ice cream is easy to make and the machine overall works well. However, on use number 2 it started squeaking during churning, very loudly. It has continued doing that on each churning.

We purchased this ice cream maker just due to the fact that it is a self freezing unit just like a commercial unit but at a fraction of the price. In the USVI having this type of machine is the only way to make ice cream when the temps are in the upper 80’s.For two of us we make two base mixes a day ahead and refrigate. Then we make up two batches the following day. We have to move fast to get the ice cream into the containers and into the freezer so having the holding option at the finish of the batch is important to keep the remaining batch cold in the unit. Cons so far, its a heavy machine to move around. The scrapers are hard to clean the ice cream off when the batch is finished. Remaining clean up is fairly easy. Nice thing is you can make test batches and not have several quarts of a failed test batch to eat. We tried the peanut butter recipe in the booklet, way too sweet and peanut butter taste was overwhelming. We only been using this machine for a month so far so good, hopefully we get some use out of this machine. The vanilla is really good and we don’t need to worry if the local stores are out of ice cream until the next boat arrives, just get milk and cream and plug this little guy in.

It’s incredibly loud and gets louder as the ice cream finishes. It works, but this will disturb anything without earshot.

Very easy to use and makes good gelato, but I have a couple of complaints. First, the lid is a bit flimsy. The flap to add ingredients has already fallen off a few times due to the ice cream being pushed up against it and popping it off. My other complaint is that it says it’s for 1.5 quart, and it also says not to fill the canister above the top rung of the paddle. But the first few times when I poured in only a quart of gelato mix, it went over this top rung. Since the directions say not to fill past that point, I don’t know how this would make 1.5 quarts when 1 quart does not fit. I have to make the gelato in pint batches, which is a pain. Also, most recipes call for churning for 30 minutes, but as mentioned before, with this machine the gelato starts bunching up to one side of the paddle and pushes up against the lid after only 20 minutes.

This ice cream maker quickly freezes chilled base into smooth and creamy ice cream. It’s fairly quiet and cleans up easily.

This ice cream maker is totally awesome. I am not a big ice cream eater, but during our current pandemic situation I have been experimenting with kitchen appliances and gadgets. Many of the items have gone into the “donations box.” Not this baby!!! The machine is quiet, efficient, fast and makes great ice cream. I have used the recipes from the Cuisinart instruction booklet and they have been easy and great tasting. I have eaten more ice cream in the past month then I have in the last 5 years!!!!! Definitely a keeper.

Great ice cream maker. Easy to use. I got mine so I could make some memories and treats with the kids and grandkids. It is well made and easy to clean up. I look foreword to trying some of the receipts that came along in the owner’s booklet.

Works like a charm. Very powerful motor whips up gelato and ice cream in 40 minutes. Very easy to clean up. Good instruction manual included. Read it.

Quick and convenient when the urge for ice cream hits. I can usually find an alliance’s shortcomings in its use but this has none. The only time there’s a problem is the chef’s recipe or management of the ingredients before using the ice cream maker. I’ll be enjoying ice cream all summer long. I make half recipes so there’s a variety of flavors I can eat and enjoy all the time. This ice cream maker is so good, I got one for my daughter and grandchildren to enjoy, too. This machine is worth every penny. Yumm!!!

I chose to make some cookie dough ice cream as my first try and nobody noticed that it was homemade…but that’s exactly what I wanted. I had other ice cream machines before and it was usually “too soft” or “too icy” and using those makers required me to add tons of ice and salt to even get those results. Getting store quality (talking high store quality too) results but with my choice of flavors and add-ins is a dream come true. This was fantastic to use and super convenient. I’m even considering getting a spare bucket/container so I can experiment with some swirled ice cream soon.

Great ice cream! Easy to use and makes the right amount for serving 6. Well made and quite

The unit is easy to use and makes just enough for a week’s worth for a single person. I have a hard time getting the paddle out and scraped off before the gelato begins to melt. Suggest buying a book of recipes to stimulate your creative thoughts. Won’t replace supermarket purchases entirely but can definitely expand your horizons.

I have made ice cream, gelato and sorbet, and every one turned out great. It’s easy to operate and to clean. The only drawback is that it’s somewhat noisy.

I researched automatic ice cream makers for awhile before purchasing the Cuisinart 100. I love ice cream but hate all the commercial additives so I an so happy to ne able to make the best homemade ice cream ever! Its so easy and fun to use.

Works great but is kind of loud. Sometimes has trouble churning frozen yogurt, which is thicker than ice cream. Otherwise, 5 starsIn a nutshell, I cannot imagine not having this automatic ice cream churn. Easy and fun!

Great little machine! It took a few batches for me to get used to how it works but now I’m able to crank out consistent quality ice cream when ever I’m in the mood for some. I’ve made 3 batches back to back and the machine worked flawlessly without needing to “rest” in between.
