It would be five stars except that some of the parts that surround the freezer bowl do not fully latch together and are not made with a very thick plastic, but I have not found this to affect functionality. Overall an excellent machine.

Good ice cream maker you just have to freeze the container for at least 12 hours before use. This makes great ice cream but clean up can be a bit messy. Also wish it was just a bit bigger.

If you like to be creative in the kitchen, buy this. It does take some prep time to freeze the bowl which is a little annoying, however, it’s worth it in the long run, the texture of the ice cream comes out perfect every time. I love this ice cream maker.

I use it to make a low carb, low calorie, low fat frosty treat and it works very well! I use unsweetened 45-calorie coconut milk or cashew milk and I add in some sugar-free chocolate syrup, a few dashes of cayenne pepper and cinnamon. It makes a delicious Mexican-style chocolate “ice cream.” Awesome!
