The cuisinart is a great way to get started on making your own ice cream at home. Make any flavor you want. Very easy to use and clean the best part is homemade ice cream. I make organic ice cream at half the cost .

After reading a number of reviews on a variety of ice cream makers, I went with the Cuisinart 60W Haven’t been disappointed in the decision. Makes a great batch of ice cream every time.

Works well. The lid could be improved. Be careful using the recipes that come with the unit, once they begin to freeze they may overflow.

I purchased the ice cream maker to make ice cream and sorbets at home without preservatives. My husband had open heart surgery and I wanted to ensure he was getting a healthy treats during his recovery and in the future. It’s been a lot of fun experimenting with sorbets, frozen yogurt and non- dairy low fat versions. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that many of the recipes I make are low fat and so the ingredients stick to the sides of the freezing container, wasting a portion of the ice cream. I used coconut milk with one batch and because of the high fat content it did not stick to the sides. So if you are making traditional high fat ice cream you will not have an issue with the sticking to the sides. If only they could make a container that would not stick with the low or no fat recipes it would be a 5 star product.

Didn’t care for the recipe book so bought the Ben and Jerry book. Hav made at least 100 batches so far using whatever fruit is on sale; raspberry, strawberry, mango, blackberry, pineapple and others but my favorite is Ben’s Chocolate.

I bought this machine to replace a very old one i had . We have an abundant about of raspberries and I love making raspberry sherbet & sorbet. The machine was easy to use and was faster than i expected. The sherbet was so creamy and fluffy & ready to eat .Cleanup was also much easier than my old machine. Great product!

First batch I tried to make did not freeze. I had left the insert in freezer for 24 hours, but that was not enough. 24 hours later, it worked great!

I love this machine, I bought it off a recommendation from a friend and I have enjoyed it. The only problem with it so far is it has made me fat.

I like the Culisinart ice cream maker. I do have some problems with mine. The lid will not stay on, I follow the instructions completely but it will spin on top unless someone holds it down and then I’m scared it will break. Otherwise, we have had some good ice cream. I would spend more on the digital screen, I thought I was buying that one but it was my mistake. Made a great ice cream cake the other day for son’s birthday.

Looked at a lot of different ones and found that I liked the reviews for this ice cream maker.I had heard that it could be somewhat noisy BUT I found that not to be. It was fast in making the ice cream, perhaps 20-25 min. I have only made it once so far and I don’t believe its the fault of the maker but once I put it in the freezer to solidify more and removed it a few hours longer, it was really hard to scoop out. I will make it soon again ….a different flavor and see if that happens again. (The store bought ice cream does not seem to get that hard.)
