I have used this twice now and it works perfectly. It is a little lound but that doesn’t affect the quality of this machine. I freeze the conatiner overnight before I make my batch of ice cream and it works perfectly. I highly reccomend this unit, you won’t regret it.

I love my little ice cream maker. It’s easy to operate and the recipes that come with it are delicious. I have made two of them and they are excellent .The chocolate is wonderful. My only complaint is that it is rather noisy and the paddle insert is kind of flimsy. The soft ice cream is easy to get out of the freezer bowl but the ice cream that hardens on the walls you have to use some elbow grease to get it out and the texture is different . But, it’s still delicious.

I would have given this machine a 5 star if not for the fact that it makes quite a lot of noise when churning. The 2 qt. freezer bowl is perfect in that most cream recipes don’t overflow.

Nothing beats homemade. I’m so glad I purchased this one. I have been making my own ice cream and gelato. It is so easy to use and the instruction booklet comes with some recipes too.

My last ice cream maker was a wooden pail with ice and salt. Huge difference with this. Works very well and makes great ice cream. Recommended

Very easy to use. I’ve only used it for 2 batches of ice cream so far and am very impressed. My husband says he doesn’t want any other ice cream now. I hope we like the other deserts as well as we like ice cream!

Wow! Love this appliance. I’ve really enjoyed trying different recipes. My family loves the taste of homemade ice cream much better than store bought and this machine makes the best ice cream! Not to mention, it does so in less than 30 minutes.

My family said the vanilla we made was the best vanilla they had ever had. The chocolate was pretty amazing. Pumpkin was interesting. We have enjoyed making ice cream.

Works great but only one batch before refreezing is needed. Markings on bowl would be so you don’t overfill.

This is my second electric ice cream maker. Where was it when I bought my first. This machine is superior to the other one. The bowl moves and not the blade making it a much smoother operation and much more durable. The bowl cools super fast and cleans up in a jiffy. I highly recommend this machine.

Wanted a project to do with grandkids for occasional summertime fun – fit the bill! Too much sugar a bad idea, but as a treat, great fun. And not boring like the old hand cranked turners that took forever, and gave inconsistent results when I was a kid. The grandkids sit around and countdown to the final 00, then we dip spoons in for two or three “taste tests” each. Then into the homemade chocolate bottomed cones! Bought a second one, and sent it to my other grand daughter that lives 1000 miles away, so that she could also share in the fun.

If you are processing a mixture that is keto (no sugar, but has faux sugars), you have to add a little vodka to keep it from getting icy. Also, you may need to stop it before it gets to the end of the ice cream cycle. The first time we made ours, it was very thick and icy on the sides and was almost impossible to get off. Your tendency is to use a regular ice cream spade to scrape it off, but instructions tell you not to use sharp implements. All being said, it does process quickly.

My husband and I are in love with this machine! He tried to convince me that we didn’t need an ice cream maker because we don’t really have room to store it. Too bad for him, I received this as a Christmas present from my mom. He doesn’t care any more! We’ve tried the Mexican Chocolate Ice Cream and the Mascarpone and Fig Gelato recipes from the book that comes with the machine. They are both amazing!!!!! It’s incredibly easy to use and clean.

Believe all the reviews you see about the ICE-70; it really is that good. From a technical perspective, the design of the scraper blades is such that there is minimal ice build up on the walls of the bowl, which is exactly what you need for the small particle ice crystals that deliver a smooth texture. That is only one small reason why this machine is best in its class. Sure, you have to plan ahead and put the bowl in the freezer, and if that doesn’t make sense, then look into a machine with a compressor. But if you are looking for a very high quality, very highly regarded, and highly functional standalone ice cream (and gelato and sorbet) maker, this is the best one out there–for a very reasonable price. My only quibble is that I each too much ice cream now, and that certainly isn’t a bad thing.
