It’s a great and easy to clean product! People just need to make sure to chill/cool their mixture in order for the result to really turn out as ice cream. Even if it looks like soup, just put it in the freezer and it will be ice cream ready to be eaten by the next day!

Makes perfect ice cream without much effort. I love it.

Very noisy and I have to use a spatula to push ice cream down into the mixture.

Easy to use. Makes great ice cream quickly. The down side is the lid which has little plastic knobs to hold it in place. After 3 uses, one broke and I have to hold it on with duct tape every time I make ice cream. Definitely a design flaw.

Fast and most delicious!!! Sometimes over flows the churning bowl and runs down sides of machine, if you Don’t shut off soon enough.

Originally purchased the Cuisinart Cool Creations 2 Quart Ice Cream Maker for my son for Christmas. Of course, I am in charge of making the ice cream!! Worth every penny, and the recipes are so easy to follow. Very happy with this great product from Cuisinart. Highly recommend!!

Making ice cream is fun and easy! I have made several flavors and everyone has complimented on how delicious the ice cream is. I also ordered the Cuisinart Ice Cream recipe book. It has been very helpful.

Have used it four times now, both with custard based recipes and ‘Philadelphia” style recipes (no eggs), and it has been so much fun! Its easy and quick and the ice cream is creamy and delicious. I like having the freedom to experiment with flavors and recipes, and I look forward to trying lots more going forward. Making, heating, straining and cooling the custard base is a bit of work (not difficult, but a bit messy), but worth it. If you don’t want to mess with that, or want something quicker, the no-egg, no-cook recipes are simply mix and churn. You can be sitting at the table and decide you want ice cream, and literally 30 minutes later you can be eating (soft serve) ice cream. The machine is a bit noisy, but its compact and easy to clean. You do have to watch the quantity of ice cream base you put into the machine because not all recipes are for this size of machine, and the ice cream expands as it freezes. I’ve had to scoop out some with a spoon while churning because I overfilled it and it started to overflow. If you follow the recipes in the accompanying manual you’ll be fine, but the fun is really in finding other recipes to try, so just watch your quantities. I hope it holds up for many years. Highly recommended.

Works great! We are really enjoying making home made ice cream. Easy to use and not real noisy, either. Happy with our purchase

I like the ease of use and cleaning, except for the plastic stirrer. It seems flimsy, doesn’t keep the freezing ice cream or sorbet off the sides of the bowl very well so there is poor incorporation and with it product consistence issues if i don’t stop and scrape it manually every once in a while, which is both physically taxing and annoying. There are also grooves on the mixing arm that don’t seem to serve a purpose other than to be hard to clean. My first ice cream maker. Would not recommend.

It is so easy to use and makes great ice cream. It is also quiet. Even made lactose-free ice cream for my daughter with lactose free half-and-half and it turned out great

I am so glad I brought this. its super easy-does all kinds of frozen or chilled treats. High calorie (fat) or low calorie (no-fat) both come out terrific. super easy to clean. pure and delicious and you know exactly what went in. I pre-make frozen protein ice cream. so its like eating a decadent treat, smooth soft and silky…. BUT IT’S GOOD FOR YOU :). easy to clean as well.

Quick and good. The ice cream needs to be removed immediately or it freezes quickly to the sides and had to melt off

Easy to use. Doesn’t take up a lot of room on my counter. The drum doesn’t take up much room in the freezer. However, for frozen yogurts the recipe book has you use plain Greek yogurt. I use just plain whole milk yogurt, because Greek yogurt makes it too sour.
