Purchased this to replace an “ice and salt” style machine that broke during quarantine. This is SO much better. I’ve made several custard style desserts so far, and one simple ice cream from the enclosed recipe book. They all worked well and fast. You do need to plan ahead and have the bowl frozen ahead of time. Even with my built in freezer which has a “super freeze” setting – we can’t shorten the time. But once frozen the canister maintains temperature and freezes large batches in 25 minutes or less. Only advice is that when aerating – the recipes enclosed easily spill over. Next time I’m going to try to mix half the batch at a time. Once completed – ice cream is a soft serve consistency that can be eaten immediately without further still freezing. That’s really nice if you want to serve a treat.

I LOVE this machine! Making ice cream is quick and it comes out delicious! I deducted one star because of 2 things: It can be a little loud if you make ice cream in the middle of the night to surprise your family in the morning, and every recipe I’ve used, it overflows slightly. Not enough to damage the machine or affect the process in any way. We (owners) just have to play with it a little bit to get the recipe ingredient amounts perfect. I would highly recommend this ice cream maker!

I love it , I have made 7 different batches of Ice Cream , Chocolate, Strawberry, Cheesecake, Vanilla, and Banana Cheesecake. Each time it was done in 17- 21 minutes. Highly recommend this Ice Cream maker. I keep the Tub in the Freezer 24/7 , and when I make a base , I put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours then it’s ready.
